I just got 17.207.014 points on Normal and ranked #6 in the world. And the funny thing is, I lost on purpose, as I was getting really tired. This game is good, but Normal mode is flawed. If you manage to beat all 16 waves, it loops back to wave 1. And the difficulty level doesn't increase after each loop, it's exactly the same. So you can imagine that if someone is able to beat all 16 waves once, they obviously could beat them twice, and so on. It really makes no sense.
Oh well... at least Advanced Mode does have an end... I guess I'll have no choice but to play that mode from now on.
EDIT: I just played Advanced Mode for the first time and ranked #4 in the world. =)
Well, I finally decided to give this game a download and I have to say it's great! The concept is really simple. However, it's not "just popping bubbles" like many people think. The purpose of the game is to score as many points as possible, and to do so, you will have to indeed pop bubbles, but in a strategic way. Pop same colored bubbles to create chains. Switch between popping big bubbles for more time or small bubbles for more points. And there are even power ups and hazards thrown in as well. You may be surprised at just how deep the scoring system is. So yeah, there is more to this game than "just popping bubbles". I'd say if you like arcade-style puzzle games, you should definitely give this one a try.
It's probably going to be the same, as every button on the N64 controller has its corresponding button on the Classic or Gamecube Controller. Sure, pressing + to make an "S" isn't as intuitive as pressing Start, but anyway...
I bet everyone who isn't excited about Pokémon Puzzle League haven't ever played the game. It was my most played N64 game after Ocarina of Time and Super Smash Bros. Don't be fooled by the Pokémon theme. In my opinion, it's one of the best puzzle games ever. It is very challenging at high difficulty levels (the AI is simply brutal on very hard) and it is extremely fun to play against a friend. The only sad thing is that the multiplayer is for two players only.
Damo, you're wrong. When you pay for a game, you pay for what is being advertised. If then they add new content, you are not entitled to get it for free since you didn't pay for it in the beginning. You just paid for what was already in the game. You also said that, if the content was so good, they should add it in the game itself. You are also missing the point there. The idea is to add content as time passes, giving developers time to actually create the content for us. If that wasn't the case, then the game would never be released because they would never finish adding new content. And developing new stuff takes work and time, so I believe the people who provide us with it should be rewarded for their work. I know it would be awesome to have it for free. But I also believe we don't have the right to demand that. If you don't want to pay for new content, don't do it. Nobody forces you to. It's that simple.

Re: Review: Pop
Good review. This is the only WiiWare game I have downloaded so far and I am enjoying it a lot.

Re: Ubisoft Brings Protothea to WiiWare
I'll be keeping an eye on this title. It looks interesting, but I don't know if it's really worth 1000 points.

Re: RPG Titles Dominate Nintendo Power’s Most Wanted List
This is the list I sent:
Chrono Trigger (SNES)
Earthbound (SNES)
Super Mario RPG (SNES)
Final Fantasy III (SNES)
Secret of Mana (SNES)
I didn't vote for Majora's Mask because I already have it for the N64 and the Collector's Edition, but that game is absolutely awesome.
Re: WiiWare: Pop Pricing Still Unconfirmed
600 Wii Points, no more.
Re: South Korea gets their own Virtual Console
Oh my god... I remember playing that game when I was little... good times...
Re: New WiiWare Game: Gyrostarr
I hope it plays as good as it looks. Also, the game will cost 700 points, a very reasonable price. I'll definitely keep an eye on this one.
Re: WiiWare: Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People
Never heard of it either.
Re: Wayforward Working On Shantae Sequel For WiiWare
Gotta keep an eye on this one...
Re: USK update - Four new Sega games: Phantasy Star, Gley Lancer
@wii-c-kid
Yes, the VC does indeed need more RPGs.
Re: Bomberman Wii - First screens
@Phoenixus
The fact that the game has Mii Support doesn't necessarily mean we will be able to use Miis as playable characters.
