"Federal law says a manufacturer can’t require you to use specific parts and service to keep warranty coverage, unless it provides the parts and services for free, or gets a waiver from the FTC to make that requirement."
If I'm understanding that correctly then they cannot void your warranty for attempting repair yourself unless you have intentionally damaged it. Though I can't personally confirm how these regulations would apply specifically in this case I do think attempting repair or alternative fixes like this is the right move.
@ricklongo I didn't know the two-player thing existed. I tried and now Daffodil is also softlocked. Even if a controller is set to control her it just doesn't work either. Thanks anyway though, good to know about the psuedo-co-op.
The game locked up when I tried to talk to the aforementioned character while they were walking to the back of the ship for another character's everdoor cutscene. It might be due to the fact that event was going on is why I can't get unstuck (I've tried waiting it out multiple times. It just never lets me regain control)
I've had a ton of fun with it so far, most of the issues didn't set me back too far since it saves decently often except near the end of the game it softlocked, it saved the game while softlocked and I can no longer progress whatsoever.
I'm just going to have to wait for a patch on this one but I'm very excited to see the rest of the story (If you want to try to avoid this don't talk to a certain particularly rude character after fully upgrading their house. It's the character who wants you to make the rock crusher)
@Heavyarms55 It's usually either there or installed as Homebrew on basically any console from or after the GameCube era. The Android version is honestly pretty great. Retroarch's thing is a sort of "Run it on literally anything" mentality which makes it a little weird to set up at first.
@Heavyarms55 I know Evoland and a few others do. Most games that are "Full games ported to mobile" or are multi-platform like Terraria (Not 100% sure if Terraria does so maybe bad example) are likely to have controller support but they usually mention it in the description. Main thing I use a controller on my phone for is Retroarch.
I haven't seen any that didn't auto-map inputs correctly. Stuff I've played worked immediately
@PBandSmelly As a fairly average person whose been playing this game in intense mode I can say it's very fun. I don't personally have the stamina yet to handle more than about two levels at a time at this difficulty (the "adjusted" difficulty for me on Intense is '20') but it's a great workout.
This reminds me a lot of some of the games for the ill-fated Kinect. To be completely honest that's why I'm absolutely on board. The mentality here is blurring the line between a gameplay focused and fitness focused experience which in my opinion could be really fun, I don't know how well it'll do but I feel like if anyone can make this work it's absolutely Nintendo
I happened to remember seeing a video about calculators in Mario Maker. There's a channel called Ceave Gaming that goes over insanely complicated contraptions built in Mario Maker as well as explanations for them.
I actually bought a New 2DS XL last week (I've had an old 3DS since launch) basically because I'm worried the price will go up if the system is discontinued. The 3DS has had an excellent run and these last few releases have been great. I'll be honest and say that I'd be fine if support continues for a little while longer, the system is down to less than $150 for the latest and best model which for how great the game library will definitely be worth it, at least until the Switch maybe starts having more used consoles out there, it's a pretty big investment to get a Switch right now so I think the 3DS still has its place.
The Red/Blue set is an exception: If bought as part of a Switch bundle it will be a Red right Joy-Con and a Blue left Joy-Con If bought as separately it will be a Red left Joy-con and a Blue right joy-con.
There's a lot of cases where it does make sense (porting over Doom is a great example) there are a few where it doesn't. Jackbox Party Pack in particular seems to average slightly cheaper on Switch (It's on sale more often than on other platforms from what I've noticed too)
Eh, either way I find it worth paying a little extra for the portability convenience.
I would pay a lot for one of these with GCN remotes. I'm still likely to look into those Gamecube-styled pro controllers but an actual mod of an official remote is just as, if not more, enticing.
Bit of a bummer that since this list was made the day before Enter the Gungeon launches on Switch that the true winner for best eShop game cannot claim it's throne.

Re: People Order Switch Consoles From Amazon, Get Hilariously Random Items Instead
Photopolymer Resin? Like the kind used for SLA 3D printing?
Honestly depending on the brand that could literally cost as much as a Switch.
Re: Dead Cells' Next DLC Pack Adds "Chill-Inducing" Monsters And All-New Weapons
Started playing the game a lot lately so this is absolutely welcome news

eShop now says the release date is 5/15/2018.
Might be a placeholder but seems like it could be the actual new date.
