Again, 3DS XL will not come with a charging cradle or AC adaptor in Europe — both accessories will be sold separately.

Guys, just want to put this AC adaptor thing to bed once and for all.

In Europe, the 3DS XL will not come with an AC adaptor. Here is the relevant section from the official Nintendo press release:

Even with the addition of the bigger screen, Nintendo’s aim was to still make the system available at a reasonable purchase price. Because of this, and because so many fans already own a previous handheld, an AC adapter will not be included.

(Also check Nintendo UK's website which says the same thing.)

North American 3DS XL consoles will come with an AC adaptor.

@LEGEND_MARIOID I see what you're saying but that's crazy logic. Also the 3DS price drop knocked about £50-70 off the console's price — here we're talking pounds! Just enjoy what you have and think how lucky you are!

@mudjo I seem to remember Reggie says you'll get past Pokémon earlier; think I saw a Marill in there. But yeah, weird that after one game of "no old Pokémon until you finish!" they'd do a sequel and reverse that choice.

@Destroyer64 I can assure you it is not a writing mistake. Watch this video from about 2m 11 and Mr Shibata specifically says Europe will not get an AC adaptor. The NA 3DS XL will come with an adaptor, EU one will not. Not a mistake this time

I really would like to see people move away from the "this should be free" mindset. 12 attractions with multiple levels, support for between one and five players and more; it's an actual, proper game, not just some throwaway tech demo.
