Competitive Smash isn’t something I care much for

I prefer playing it with friends in a relaxed, fun environment

No need for all the saltiness that comes from a scrub tournament

I finished my roster on Saturday and I had a blast unlocking every character.

Couldn’t care less about the competitive scene. To me it’s all about having fun at home on my own system.

I wasn’t even old enough to speak when OoT was a thing, so I don’t really carry that childhood nostalgia.

My first experience with Zelda was OoT on the 3DS (while I was in high school) and that’s what got me into the series. It was an amazing game and became one of my favourite games of all time.

I was kinda scared of Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu at first, but after playing for about 15 hours I can honestly say that I’m happy with the game. Not 100% happy, but happy. It’s a nice, relaxing way to re-experience Kanto in it’s most beautiful iteration yet.

I’m actually happy to see that the game is doing well with reviewers. I’ve been really hyped for it and would’ve been majorly bummed if it turned out to be the disappointment a part of me expected.

Can’t wait to play on Friday!

I’d also like to mention that this is my first time playing Dark Souls AND I’m loving it!

I’ve been playing solo so I didn’t even know about the crash... huh...

That trailer spawned some mixed emotions in me, but the good emotions overshadow the bad ones! I’m excited to check it out when it hits theaters!

@xpromisedx So for Pikachu it’ll be Oddish, Sandshrew and Growlithe, while Eevee will have Bellsprout, Vulpix and Meowth. I still need to catch Bellsprout.

I would’ve liked to own this as a physical cart, but since I’ve already bought it digitally I don’t really feel too bummed about this.

Though I do get why a lot of people would’ve preferred to buy the physical version.

Usually I’d be pretty quick to buy DLC, but with the massive character roster that’s already present... eh...

I can wait a few months until they reveal a character I actually want. I just bought Let’s Go Pikachu and I plan on getting the Pokéball Plus, so I wont be able to afford the DLC anyway.

There are 2 kinds of people in this comment section:

@Heavyarms55 It’s a real shame, but I guess alot of good people still hang around here. Happy to talk to all of them about our shared hobbies and passions.

I honestly prefer this over the classics Nintendo throws at us. The PS1 was my first console, so it’s a definite buy for me.
N64 might change my mind about Nintendo’s efforts.

I’ll probably just pay straight up when I get to it. I don’t think I have to trial to know I want to play my Splatties online.

@Giygas_95 Yeah. Alot of games take crazy amounts of work and losing all of that work would suck hard. Though as @Camilla mentioned: they’re trying to scorch out the hackers from Splatoon 2 and some other games might follow the movement.
This just isn’t one of those situations where everyone can win. Can’t expect it to be perfect, I guess...

@Giygas_95 Honestly the Splatoon 2 one is bugging me as well.

@Giygas_95 It has been mentioned that Nintendo itself is allowing cloud saves for all games, but developers are responsible for the decision of actually “activating” the cloud save function for their game. Not sure if that’s true, but it has been floating around.

Despite all the changes they’re making for the newcomers and casuals, I actually think this’ll be a good experience. I can’t really see anything exceptionally “wrong” with the game. I’ll just stick to Ultra Sun for my competitive fix.

I’m enjoying it. I love the chibi design. Glad I get to experience the shortened story.
Definitely agree with the 6/10 score though.
I can’t stand the typical mobile game look of the textures. I really don’t like the frozen faces. The combat isn’t awful, but it’s not entertaining enough to impress.

The four road buddies interacting with one another keeps me happy, so THAT is a reason to keep playing.

Honestly... no, I’m not happy about paying more to keep playing my Splatties. No, I’m not satisfied by the NES games. No, I don’t feel happy paying for a faulty and imperfect online service.

Yes, I will be paying for the service. I want to keep playing online, I really want the cloud saves and I’m gonna try to be optimistic and hope their online improves as time goes on.

Honestly I’ll just keep going with the flow, because complaining actually isn’t going to do me any good... funny, eh?
