every few months I check in to see how the Switch 2 is going... and oh man.

Well it'll be nice to have something announced for the Switch 2. So far we've got no Outer Worlds 2, Oblivion Remaster, Avowed, Expedition 33, Elder scrolls 6, monster hunter, Fallout etc

I'll get it for sure, when it's 60% off. The asking price is insane.

@glennthefrog I don't think it really matters. From what I've heard, Switch sales have absolutely tanked. Doing a preview isn't going to hurt. Only people that would be buying a Switch this xmas are parents for little kids, which they would buy regardless as they need xmas presents for this year, not next.

@Sylamp don’t handheld PC systems and laptops use wifi? Why do Nintendo fan always make excuses for getting missing features? I guess with these altitudes, this is why you guys get treated this way.

Well that’s blooming disappointing. Friends play it on their ROG Ally’s. Would have been fun being able to join in. How lame. In 2024 too! But I bet they’ll still ask top $$$$ for it. What does “roll back net code” mean?

Purchased just to support the dev. Tired of hate filler gamers boycotting everything because they're told too.

So underwhelmed sold my oled and games. Wake me up when Switch 2 comes out.

It was great on the GBA. Will be getting this for sure. Perfect for a Switch Lite.

@DAHstroy it has cross play with other consoles (can’t remember if PC too, I think so). Last time I played there were LOTS of people running around.

A family member has worked in Japan for decades for a variety of gaming companies (no not my uncle ;P). This totally tracks for the way Japanese company’s act and the horror stories I’ve heard.

Which is fine. One of the things I constantly hear from the Steam Deck evangelical crowd is that they can play pirated switch/Nintendo games.

Oh good. Unless it's 2D or exclusive to Switch, I try to get everything on a more powerful console.

I think 6/10 is to harsh. It's the style of gameplay that you don't like, fine, but it might not be for you. But for us that grew up playing Another World and Prince of Persia, know the style of game we're getting, and enjoy it. These types of games rely on respawning, precision and memory as the core machanic. Wrapped in an excellent plot that makes you want to keep retrying to see what happens next. It's kinda like playing Dark Souls and complaining you die all the time and there are boss battles. The end of level challenges are challenging, but they're short and are climatic! Just a few more reties and you'll get past, none are really to hard, it's balanced well, and the rewarding feeling of beating it is great
