Beat the OCU campaign over the weekend. Fantastic game. Reviewer's big complaints (RNG and inability to target specific Wanzer parts) was proof that he didn't play for very long (Accuracy quickly improves with arm upgrades, and skills to target specific parts are quickly unlocked for both long and short range weapons.)

@Ralizah From what I can remember (years since I played through Grandia 1 and 2), Criticals are used to knock enemies back on the ATB gauge thing- basically you use them to delay enemy turns or cancel out specials.

Reviewer could have just said "I don't like Front Mission games, so I did not like this" and saved themselves quite a bit of time.

A bit lower than the Metacritic average, and on the low end of the positive scores. Most other positive reviews are conveying that this is a big improvement over the game, and one of the best on the system.

@cdmac Series X are fairly easy to find these days, compared to PS5. I play mine a lot more than my PS5, thanks to the incredible backwards compatibility support (I skipped last Xbox Gen, but still own a bunch of 360 and OGXbox games that are boosted on XSX)

@RadioShadow Super Mario RPG is a wonderful game, but in comparison to its ilk, has a real "baby's first RPG" feel to it. Just way too easy.

A real QOL improvement would be having a less bloated world, and removing about 90% of the fetch quest filler.
