Couldn't that clip be from a Warriors game?

Splatoon one would be the best without that big yellow splash. Not a fan of bright colored characters that pop out like with Scarlet / Violet and Dragon Quest editions.

I voted for Diamond + Pearl Lite. Minimalistic look in front and gold + silver details backside that match well with the black color.

Splatoon and Kid Icarus would have potential as F2P battle royale games. F2P F-Zero would be interesting to see as well, considering weak sales of previous releases.

Mario Strikers Battle Football should've been F2P or free to start. It's not going to be worth 60 dollars anytime soon.

@Xylnox Roguelike elements and the story are interesting, but I would definitely wait for patch before buying. The narrator is great, but the characters don't have full voice acting.

I disagree. I'm currently playing this game as well, but can't get past Chapter 5 because of game breaking bug. I'm approaching a town called Ursus with Hopper's party, but everytime a battle is supposed to start, the game loads Hopper's skill tree and buttons stop working. Loading previous save state or restarting the console doesn't too anything.

The game has also black screened (crashed) few times and controls feel a bit sluggish.

How do you play Mario Party without joycons?

Many fighting games do this already, but "Challenger appeared!" fights have been a fun part of Smash forever.

You know that competitive players are a big customer group? They want to unlock characters quickly and they'll certainly do it in couple of hours. Bigger tournament organizers have to do that multiple times. 5-year-olds can't even beat "Challenger appeared!" cpus first try.

@Axlroselm is not 100% wrong though. NL generally praises Nintendo exclusives more than other sites and guess what, publishers and their business partners love that.

MHW is also available on PC and Xbox btw. I have it on SSD drive and it takes 3 seconds to load a quest.

I started with Tri, played both Gen Ult. and World and I personally think World's direction is the way to go in the future. MHW has much more immersive environments and story is at least somewhat interesting thanks to voice acting and higher budget animations. It brought a lot of new people into game thanks to graphic and QOL improvements.

I expected more from the Switch debut. It really looks dated when playing on TV mode. Different fighting styles are fine, but I still prefer one, multipurpose set, that can do every possible attack. (I don't like how some lance sets become more simple and lose jump dash, or how aerial hammer loses superbound.) I also feel my pouch is always full in Ultimate, because pickaxes and nets take space. Ultimate beats World in amounts of maps and monsters though, but World beasts also take more work.

Less clickbaity news stories please. Some rumors are just not newsworthy. News about 4chan's GameCube Mini "leaks" generate just false hope and dumb user comments.

In my opinion NL is too Nintendo biased. Most first party games would get 1 or 2 points less in other online magazines.

I'd like to see longer video discussions or podcasts maybe. Eshop roundups are my favorite articles.

The same guys made F1 2009 for Wii which was ok. 3DS version looks really ugly and AI drivers act terrible...

I think games like WarioWare minigames in App Store would actually help selling the DS-WarioWare titles. It would be a good marketing trick "play the full game only on DS".

I think that looks kinda cool, but those screens are from Mario Kart Wii, I think.

You can dodge the blue shell if you time right using the mushroom.
Personally I don't hate blue shell's effect and I don't care if there are 1 or two in a race. (In a short track 1 is enough) But 3 or more is just ridiculous. Same thing with lightnings.

Why there are so many remakes coming out? I want a new Zelda and Starfox.

I just want SSB with good online game and maybe with cell-shaded graphics.
