Re: Rumour: Final Fantasy Devs Supposedly Hint At Another Nintendo Release

Gamer666

As a long term FF fan, FF16 and FF7 remake is what made me lost all my faith in this series.

The story of FF16 is fine at the first half (although extremely similar with a TV series), second half ha some interesting lore but feels unfinished. Ending is terrible.

As for gameplay, I dont mind action RPG but there's no rewards on how I perform in the game. I can have a perfect combo with no damage but there's no benefit of it. In the end I just spam whatever I have to quickly go through the story, which also has a huge pacing issue on the second half.

It's the FF game that I sold after I finished it. I hate the story of FF7R (again, HUGE pacing issue) but at least the gameplay is fine.

Re: Here's Why Switch 2 Joy-Con And Pro Controllers Don't Have Analogue Triggers

Gamer666

@WhiteUmbrella dude I criticise Nintendo a lot, but I just don't think this is an issue at all
What's your point? We don't know if there will be any game that will require analogue triggers on switch 2 anyway. IF there are games that supports it and you want to use it, just buy it on other platforms and don't support Nintendo. How hard is it? Won't be replying anymore, there's literally no point on arguing with you since your mind has been set on criticizing this.

Again, don't like it, don't buy it. Talk with your action instead of posting useless comments like this. Bye.

Re: Video: Let's Compare Xenoblade Chronicles X On Wii U And Switch

@roy130390 plenty of hidden areas / landmarks / unique monster to find on the map. There's also many benefit for us to explore the map that will give us passive income / resources. The main city have hundreds of quest with stories and quest without story.

The battle system also encourage us to battle more so we can master more classes.

There's a reason so many of us spent 300-400 hours on the original game on wii u 😅

Re: Rumour: Konami And Square Enix Expected To Bolster 'Switch 2' Software Library With Major IP

Gamer666

@link12684 I agree.
As someone who loves FFVII - FFXII (Except X-2 lol), the demo of XVI sold that game to me.

Unfortunately after finishing that game, my wife and I both thought that XVI is a big piece of trash. It's like they can't write a decent story since XII (even XII is meh tbh)

FF7R again is another big disappointment. Gameplay was decent, but the story and characters are terribly boring.

FF16 will be the last FF game that I bought without a discount, and I stopped watching game reviews after that.

Re: Review: LEGO Horizon Adventures (Switch) - A Beautiful But Basic Build Of Sony's Series

Gamer666

@N00BiSH dude are you really following Sony? People don't need their high spec ***** anymore. I am a PS fan and PS5 games has been quite disappointing to me, and the recently released ps5 pro felt like a slap to us Sony fans. I am glad they are porting most of their games to PC because I don't think I will get a ps6 in the future.

Does the graphics of PS games amazed me? hell yeah. But after 4-5 games looking so similar I kinda don't care anymore.

Re: Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Director Makes 2023 'Variety500' List

Gamer666

@rushiosan totk didn't change the redefines the entire genre like BoTW, and when BOTW came out it was also the launch period of Switch, and 2017 didn't pack nearly as much good games as this year. There's simply way too many newsworthy stuff going on this year, we have some of the best games and worst games ever made, tons of news about xxx gaming companies getting hacked / staffs getting fired ETC
I don't think it's fair to call a game dead just because is not on the headlines any more, the sales are still going very strong for this game, but hey, whatever man I am kinda tired of arguing this.

Re: Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Director Makes 2023 'Variety500' List

Gamer666

@rushiosan every trend dies after awhile on tiktok, and like I said there's simply too many good games this year who took the spotlight when they were newly released.

Just visit any of the totk reddit boards or simply youtube search totk sort by date, and you will know why I said the game is not even close to dying. Not every game needs to be on trending to have a active community. Furthermore, I am sure this game is on the wish list for many younger gamers for Xmas.

Re: Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Director Makes 2023 'Variety500' List

Gamer666

@rushiosan just because you didn't follow it doesn't mean it's not popular

Almost every gaming website has nominated this game as GOTY, the game has multiple subreddit that have people sharing their gameplay every single day.

This year simply have too many great games, and it didn't reinvented the whole genre like BOTW, but saying the game is dead is ridiculous

Re: Dusk Diver Sequel For Switch Arriving In The West This Summer

@Bl4ckb100d you did realise there are quite a number of fantastic indie games recently were developed in mainland China and published by other oversea publishers right? Many cutscenes/animation in western / Japanese big studios were also done by Chinese studios.

Maybe you should grow up and realise that every country's citizen is just trying to live their ordinary life, regardless of their political situation.

Hating a game /any form of art based on which country produced is simply childish and extremely disrespectful.
