One of my favorite games of all time! Great story. Great variety and never a dull moment. First and only game that ever scared me. Really messes with your head in ways that had not been seen before. I actually thought something was in my house. If you've played it you know what I'm talking about.
@HollywoodHogan I think the point of the article is that it is news again and NL is just clearing up why they aren't gonna be covering more of the nintendo related stuff as it gets takes about now. Probably not huge but, it's a Niche that fits this site.
Mario64 is on Wii virtual console. Also the DS version is a great remake. The textures back then may lack but the original is still so fun and immersive. My partner at Mobot and I beat it all 120 stars back when it first came out and it was one of my favorite game memories. A huge part of why he and I started a business to focus on making nintendo games now. At the time there was nothing like it. I think it still holds up today. I also think nintendo does a great job at keeping the classics alive.
I think there's plenty room for any type of game big or small. Plenty young kids including mine actually genuinely enjoy mini games but, using other's artwork without permission just seems off to me.
@vitalemrecords @quorthon This has nothing to do with this post but little inferno is a fantastic game. The gameplay is creative and the combo system is amazing. If you like solving puzzles and are a patient gamer little inferno has some real serious depth.
It's no problem.
We knew we'd take a little heat for including Hunphrey as a cameo but that's ok. People who read the last article know blocky bot is more the opposite of what people may think.
There is a huge demand for smaller inexspensive games.
We just wanted to present gamers with an option in that category with some serious production value.
There's tons of variety and stuff to unlock. Even contra style secret codes!
We've already poured a couple months in so it's hardly "shovel ware"!!
Just an FYI sinc it came up - paper monsters recut bug fix update has already been submitted for NA and EU. Not sure if we're looking at a few days or weeks but it will be live the second it's approved!
There are about 30 little fixes but the main biggies are the freeze on buggy blaster and the paper clip that didnt get counted leaving some players at 99% complete.
Unless going for 100% completion a lot of people may not have noticed but the fix is in there.
Totally respect that. But a lot of people see Kickstarter as something other than an investment or it would never work. Theres far better places than Kickstarter for a return on investment. Most people that support projects just enjoy part of seeing something come to fruition and being a part of it.
There's a lot of passion in the Kickstarter community and I think it's great.
Thanks for the review! We really appreciate it. Yeah, we get the LBP remarks. No prob. Given how small we are and our resources, I'm happy to even be in the same sentence!
We just set out to make a game that looked like paper It was never our goal to look like LBP though. LBP is much better anyways.
This has been a labor of love for he last year and I'm happy that people are enjoying it.
I LOVE the n64 controller. In retrospect it may not be the most efficient thing but when it came out it was part of a whole that changed things for me. I had preordred a n64 and was blown away when i played mario64 with it.
My friends and I could just wander around for hours just sliding around on the banister in the castle and doing things like dismounting with style. Almost as if it was it's own minigame. We literally didnt stop until we had all 120 stars. Work was missed. I was fired from a crappy mall job, etc, etc.
Its hard to appreciate some thigns if you didnt live it as it unfolded but, to me this controller is a part of history.
Thanks for the positive comments. My name is James from Mobot. I just thought I'd pop on to say if anyone wants to add me, I'm "robotwizard" on the Wii U and I'm pretty into Mario kart.

For someone who likes to complete collections, it is a little painful.

If a government wants to regulate something they should pay for it. That's what taxes are for.

Good for you!
Integrity is rare. Most sites do anything for a click these days.

Since he made it public I ported it to iPhone and added touch controls. (Just for fun of course)

@iphys
I'm just throwing this out because I see these comments from time to time.
It's not a bad deal (or even a good deal) because kickstarter isn't a store. It's a place to support something you think is a good idea by backing.
Re: Blinking Light Win Means You'll Never Have To Blow On Your NES Cartridge Again
I'll back that.
