@Kienda Yeah that person going aggro out of nowhere, crazy. Some people are really letting the 10% of legit trolls get to their heads and think anyone who has any criticisms of Nintendo or slightly defends Sony is out of line somehow.
”And of course, PlayStation Studios, our franchises, have a special role in showcasing the PlayStation experience and then strengthening the player’s vision with us.” Unless you're the original Japan Studios which got sh**canned.
@lovesushi It has a pretty robust matchmaking system that should put you against similar players after a couple placement matches from my SF5 experience at least, especially with a rush of new Switch players. Tbh the release of a new fighting game (new for Nintendo community) is the best time to get in.
@Folkloner Also with metroidvanias, roguelikes, visual novels being some of the oldest genres in gaming going back to like the 70s/80s (Soulslikes no but that's more a heavily stratified action RPG than a real genre imho). Meanwhile up until 2016 with Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon/SoS/Rune Factory were basically the only decent farming sims that weren't terrible Farmville-likes with outright pay-to-win gameplay. There was a keenly felt absence of games like this, especially since Harvest Moon and its offspring had been babifying itself basically since A Wonderful Life.
Hate to say it and still don't plan to buy it, but I actually prefer this art style over the hideous mobile chibi graphics from the past few SoS games, closer to classic Harvest Moon up to A Wonderful Life.

Re: Splatoon Raiders, A New Splatoon Spin-Off, Is Confirmed For Switch 2
Looks pretty good, music sounds like early Monkey Ball (nice).
