Rayman GBC doesn't have that much levels..
I think they mixed up the Rayman Origins and Rayman GBC descriptions..

But where that price is coming from.. the GBC game is $5, so maybe Rayman Origins will be released on the e-shop for $9,99?

Yes, the article is only stating that the game is on it's way to the e-shop next month, but the link in the article goes to the NA e-shop update of last week, logic thinking: NA only.

This was a retail title in Europe, so I don't think it will be less than $10...

Still, US is alot bigger than the UK, you can't really compare them.

What I WOULD like to know is how Europe as a whole compares to the US in terms of sales..

That is only on WiiWare and DsiWare..

on the 3DS e-shop the publishers are pricing the games as far as I know..

I think it's just the DS version, and ofcourse you'll be able to play that game on a 3DS console.. I never saw anything about a 3DS version..?

You do know 8$ is only 5 British pounds right...? And yeah, it IS surprising, because alot of 3DSware costs less over here.. And it's not that I don't want to pay this much for it(I also bought Rolling Western, and will probably buy Mutant Mudds), it's just a bit unfair. We get the long wait AND a higher price..

The reviews so far all say "meh" so I will wait for a demo or something..

Indeed, and if you compare it to the US price (only 8 dollars) it's crazy.
We're waiting months for this game to get released, and when it finally does we are kind of double punished because of the price..

I'm starting to hate Nicalis.. maybe they just want us to ignore their games..

The UK isn't a region.. Europe is the region, and UK is just a part of that...
Nintendo UK doesn't exist.. it's Nintendo Europe.. and so it's just one country that performs badly, because in the others, France/Spain/Germany/Netherlands, Nintendo is doing just fine...

and by the way, it's only simple logic that Nintendo doesn't perform as well here, hardware wise, because most "gamers" only play FPS's and those games aren't available for the 3DS(yet..)

Animal Crossing, Rhythm Thief, NSMB2, Heroes of Ruin, FF Theathrythm, Kingdom Hearts DDD, Paper Mario, Luigi's Mansion, Fire Emblem(in Europe..) Mario Tennis... all 3DS exclusive and awesome... And outdated cardridges.. Nintendo is going to give you the option to choose whether you want your game digital or on a cardridge.. And I agree with you on the 3D part.. although it really boosts the 3DS graphics..

Only €10? For me it's worth €40.. and the demo doesn't feature anything of the story(which is actually logical because implementing a story in a demo is kind of impossible..) And the story, graphics, cutscreens and the harder minigames are what make this game more than worth full price..

I think it didn't get enough marketing.. Plus I heard that a lot of stores didn't have it in store before the weekend.. I understood it was only available online so I think that also caused this... Hopefully it will sell enough copies in the States.. unique game that deserves it... (:

Depends on where you live.. America, almost all countries in Europe, and Japan can buy e-shop cards...

Lucky USA... I hate the NoE submission requirements... a lot of games are released a lot later than in the USA. stupid manual's and such.. =(

I think the price is a bit high, especially when you consider it doen't use many of the 3DS features...

But I think it's a bit disapointing a lot of 3DSWare developers/publishers focus on the US... I mean, I am waiting for over a year for Cave Story DSiware, and nog I have to wait 5 months for this. Yay.

The other Mighty games are 800 points because it was a big game. 16mb or something. Nintendo based the price of the DSiWare software on how big it was. Biggest size category, biggest price category...

I was hoping Wayforward would lower the price now they can, since 3DSWare doesn't have such strange rules.. (:

They gave us 20 free ambassador games =P

But I think Ninty is incredibly generous with free stuff this year, 23 free games, and another one on January 5th(Kid Icarus)...
And of course Nintendo has marketing reasons for the free stuff, but still... free games! And if it means more people will use their 3DS online so we can get more quality 3DS e-shop games it's a plus-plus situation right?
