Orange + blue combination doesn't look too appealing. I like the black/grey much better. Also I won't be buying the Switch. 300$, paid online, no games at launch except for Zelda, not enough third party support for future. Mario looked amazing but I won't be waiting till the holidays to play it. Unless Nintendo drops the price, I can't see it selling either, in fact, I'd be surprised if it managed to surpass Wii U sales at this point.

@Utena-mobile Nah, dude. I read your comment about 5 times and still didn't understand what you were trying to say. Didn't get much sleep.
The game is shaping up great. In fact, it looks like it'll have as much of an impact like OOT did back in late 90s. I can't believe it's still a year away. Good thing I have other Zelda's to play in anticipation of this one.
@IronMan28 It's ultimately Nintendo's fault. They have much more money than they're willing to spend, if they spent some of that on improving developer relations and making exclusive contracts then I can assure you the games would've been better and we'd probably be seeing third party support for the Wii U even at times like this. Nintendo has basically given up and has no idea what to do. They're so out of touch it's ridiculous.
That's it. I'm going Scorpio/Neo this gen. Enough of Nintendo's constant spoon feeding to casuals. Wii was a fluke, they didn't learn it from Wii U and now they do this...
@gatorboi352 I have to say your comments have been consistent in being thoughtful and logical compared to most other comments that are driven by their feelings.
Idk why anyone want to ruin the game because of their personal issues. You're growing old? Ok. Good for you I guess, but why would want the game to be shorter is ridiculous. The overwhelming content in the Zelda games is definitely one of my favourite things about the series.
@Snow-Dust That's very good to hear. As for me, the original E3 reveal back in 2014 is what caught my attention. I had never played a Zelda game before but the more I read about the games and the lore, the more it intrigued me. And, inevitably, I had to try some games.
Asked on a message board for suggestions and since I've never really played an RPG or a 'dungeon explorer' with puzzles, they suggested I try Minish Cap just to get an idea of the 'real' games. I never knew the game would have secrets and collectibles in every corner of the world, it's amazing. Then when I tried the other Zelda games, I was completely overwhelmed by the amount of content.
I'm mostly a 'casual' player, if you will. I don't really care what's mainstream or not, as long as the game interests me. I've only finished a handful of games and I have to say I love games that emphasise exploration. I love the GTA games and the whole non-linear system they use in them. And I found the crux of the gameplay between these two series to be similar.
I love how you can always just stop and go back to the town in the Zelda games and buy a few potions right in the middle of a dungeon.
Needless to say, I'm absolutely hyped for BoTW. Probably more so than any other game before. And I agree, it's the physics, the 'choose-your-own-aproach' and the general exploration of the game that interests me the most.
I absolutely loved this game. Probably poured like 200 hours the first week I played this and kept coming back update after update. Recommend it to everyone.
So, I'm not a Nintendo fan, but I recently found out that I'm a huge Zelda fan. I don't understand what all the 'they're finally catching the mainstream's attention' comments mean. Were things different before or what?
@Zeldafanforlife I've played both games and the pop-up in Witcher 3 (PS4) is absolutely nowhere near the ridiculous ones from XCX (WIIU). I cannot fathom how you would even make the comparison. Have you even played XCX or Witcher 3? I highly doubt it.

Re: Nintendo Switch to Introduce Paid Online Service in Autumn / Fall
Not surprised. But it was the logical thing to do.
Re: Skyrim Confirmed for Nintendo Switch
Anyone who has never played this game is in for a treat.
Re: Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Confirmed For Nintendo Switch Launch Day
Excellent news. My most anticipated game is releasing earlier than anticipated.
I really feel like it's going to be as big as the original Ocarina of Time, it looks so big in scope and size.

@MrGawain Uh, Dead Rising 4 and other multiplatform games?
Re: Super Mario Run Jumps Onto iOS on 15th December, Priced $9.99 for Full Unlock
It's supposed to be F2P so this seems optional to remove ads/IAPs.
Also, I can't believe I'm actually excited for this game. Hurry up and release the Android version, Nintendo!
Re: Rumour: New Beyond Good & Evil Title Set to Be A 'Semi-Reboot' and NX Exclusive
@akaDv8R Just like the thousands of multiplats that never see the light of day one Nintendo consoles? I dont understand what you're trying to say.

@Utena-mobile What are you talking about?
Re: Eidos Montreal "Never Thought About The NX" For Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
I see Nintendo is still depressingly out of touch.
Re: Poll: How Excited Are You About Pokémon Sun and Moon?
I so wish Lanala was in Sun. I want to buy Sun but I want Lunala.
Re: Another Quirky Pokémon Has Been Spotted for Pokémon Sun and Moon
I'll probably keep it, probably.
Re: New Pokémon and Antagonists, Team Skull, Revealed for Pokémon Sun and Moon
Meowth looks like crap. Are Alola forms permanent?

Re: Niantic Issues a New Pokémon GO Update
At least they are trying, right guise?????
Re: Sources Suggest That Pokémon and Mario Will Arrive on Nintendo NX in First Six Months
That's literally no different than saying it's 'somewhere between an Atari 2600 and a PS99'.
'Please be excited'.
Re: Talking Point: Nintendo NX Deal Is A Vindication Of Nvidia's Shield Program
@ThanosReXXX My friend owns a Shield TV and it doesn't/can't play games like Witcher 3, it streams them. It's not that powerful tbh.
Also, it certainly doesn't play every game at 1080p 60fps, MGR runs at 720p at 30 with lots of dips.
What is your source?
Re: Talking Point: Nintendo NX Deal Is A Vindication Of Nvidia's Shield Program
At this point, I just hope the price isn't too expensive.

Goodbye Nintendo. RIP in peace 80s-2016.

@Snow-Dust Thanks for the clarification. I'm curious now, are you excited for the new BOTW?
