Free AAA games and discounts would be nice, as would dedicated servers for, say, Splatoon 2 (Seriously, what is the point in paying for online if the services see virtually no improvement over the Wii U's online infrastructure?).
Also, give us messaging, native game invites and native voice chat plz (Condemn that God-forsaken app to the depths of Hell where it belongs).
@Vapeguy It's not built-from-the-ground up. Some of the new characters, such as the Inklings, are yes, but the rest is recycled assets from Smash 4 (In some cases, the 3DS stages and models just upscaled). Most smash games take over 4 years to develop, and yet this one was cranked out in less than 4, and looks suspiciously similar to Smash 4. Huh. The LEAST they could have done was change the art style (ideally to the gritty one we had in Brawl), so it didn't LOOK like a re-hash. But they didn't. Why? Because we as a community have enabled Nintendo by eating up bs the Wii U ports they bring over, so instead of giving us brand new entries in:
-Mario Kart -New Super Mario Bros (Last entry will have come out nearly 6 years ago in 2019) -Donkey Kong -Captain Toad -and SMASH BROS
They feed us what's essentially a souped up port with nothing more than extra stages, characters, and a maybe-story mode.
I'd have rather waited til 2020 for a proper release. This is just disgusting greed and an attempt to cover up the lack of AAA titles coming to Switch.I hate that I even have to type this because I love Nintendo and my Switch to death, but not calling them out on this is just pathetic fanboyism.
In a world where we've burned people alive because we thought they were witches, and lynched people for drinking from the same water fountains as us, you'd think that people maybe would have figured out that humans can just be pieces of crap on their own.
Let's blame McDonald's for making us fat while we're at it. Smh.
I may be the only guy in the world who wasn't blown away by Botw. Idk maybe it was the hype that I'd been accumulating after waiting 6 years and buying a Wii U in 2014 SOLELY for it that killed it for me.
Either way, Twilight Princess is still my fave, and I'm curious about this title too. Will definitely keep it on my radar
I may pick this one up depending on the genre. I think a FPS or TPS where you battle rival gangs competitively and cooperatively (PvE and PVP modes) would be pretty "dope"
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Idk about that. I believe that ZombiU sold pretty poorly on Wii U and was still ported to Xbone and PS4 some years later (Likely in an attempt to recoup the money they lost on developing it exclusively as a launch title for the U in 2012)
Why are so many people complaining about the mini direct? There was plenty announced, like Dark Souls, which yeah it's a remaster, but considering the series has never been on a Nintendo system, it's practically a new game. Idk. I don't understand the entitlement sometimes.

Re: Reggie: Don't Expect Nintendo Switch Online To "Mirror" The Competition
Sounds a little arrogant.
Just give me console-based voice chat, party-creation, messaging, and themes.
That's all I want. I'd even be okay with a price raise if that's what it takes to get the basics
Re: Review: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - The Absolute Pinnacle Of Nintendo's Fighting Series
The video game equivalent of a Greatest Hits album.
Fun, but basically Smash 4.5

Re: Soapbox: That Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct; Let's Talk About It
I've never been so underwhelmed by a Smash a game as I am by what is basically Smash 4 remastered ("Ultimate").
I'll buy it when it's $30 or less. Not gonna keep encouraging souped-up Wii U ports.

Re: Nintendo Releases Stunning Third Quarter Financial Results, Confirms Switch Sales Have Overtaken Wii U
The fact that the egregious 1-2-Switch outsold ARMS is an atrocity .
Re: Nintendo Reveals The Top 30 Best Selling Digital Games On Switch In 2017
Not a whisper of DOOM, L.A. Noire, or Skyrim. Oof.

Re: Feature: Vote For Your 2017 Nintendo Life Game of the Year
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Sonic forces, AKA, "Sonic '06 2" lmao. In all seriousness though, Botw all the way for me
Re: Feature: Vote For Your 2017 Nintendo Life Game of the Year
hands down
Re: Feature: Vote For Your 2017 Nintendo Life Game of the Year
Sonic Forces
Re: ARMS Version 5.0 is Launching Tomorrow
I'm surprised people still play this game. Seems kinda niche
Re: Deals: UK Switch Owners Can Now Pre-Order The Bayonetta Special Edition With A Free Poster
@SLIGEACH_EIRE It was somewhat more understandable with Revelations collection, given that RE: R2 never game to Wii U.
I completely agree with you with Bayonetta though. No doubt it has something to do with the notorious "switch tax". Smh.
Re: Bandai Namco To Announce Three Big Switch Titles Early Next Year
@Arngrim A Zelda/Souls crossover a la Bloodborne would be dope.
Re: Bandai Namco To Announce Three Big Switch Titles Early Next Year
Instinctively I wanna say Souls, but I really don't wanna throw my $300 portable-console across the room... :/
