Thought this video would give a bit of insight into Ribbon Girl. Fine with the characters not having a back story but it could have been narrated by the announcer giving some stats and talking about her fighting style.
I have a PS4 which is still getting a lot of use since completing BOTW. I tend to use the Switch for times when I have 15 minutes spare. Which means I spend a lot more time gaming these days.
Looking forward to a nice long wait in the Dentist's waiting room tomorrow.
Really enjoyed the 2nd weekend and will pre-order, as long as the reviews don't raise any unforeseen concerns. Longing to spend more time trying out the different ARMS / fighter combos and testing their effects.
Don't think it'll be a game I play for 30 hours straight. More the kind of game I'll play regularly for 15 - 30 minutes over a longer total time.
Also my son had a blast and 2 player worked really well in party mode.
The other player in this vid clearly hadn't played much as they stood pretty still. Try button mashing after achieving some rank after release .
Really enjoyed the test punch. Put 3 hours in solo and 1 as 2 player. It Felt a bit frantic to begin with which can lead to button mashing. But I soon found myself thinking strategically a trying to second guess my opponent (s). It Felt really good.
Brilliant game. Played on PS4 but will be tempted by a mobile version.
Not sure about the 'rhythm violence' moniker though. There is a sense of dread that is invoked by the art and music direction but I would not describe it as violent.
It's basically Bit Trip Runner crossed with the visuals of Lawn Mower Man.

Re: Guide: What Time Is The ARMS Global Testpunch Demo?
Oh man. One hour sessions again. Glad I saw this article as I thought it was all weekend - like all other public betas.
Come on Nintendo give us a chance to fall in love with your game.
Re: Guide: How To Build The Best Kart In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
There isn't a best kart as it will depend on your play-style. I imagine you can compete in most modes (bar time trial) with all.
Choosing a Kart is hugely enjoyable for the people who I play with. And they are picking based on how it looks.
Re: Talking Point: ARMS Has Plenty to Prove In Its Nintendo Direct
When I see ARMS I get a real Rocket League vibe. 2/4 players in an arena locked in a battle of skill and wits. Could be endlessly enjoyable.
Looking forward to finding out more.

@Malcrash No where near tumbleseed difficulty wall. Early stages are pretty lenient unless your going for A or S grades.

Re: ARMS Secures Cover on Edge Magazine in the UK
Starting to get a really good vibe for ARMS. Really encouraging headline. Don't think EDGE is known for over hype.
Nintendo should do some kind of pre-release demo. Like Splatoons test fires so people can see what it's like.
