@Jonnyblond Did Unfinished Pixel get back to you about how they improved the game? The AI looked a bit easy in videos of the first game so I'm hoping for some improvement there. Cheers!
No, you're all wrong. The real lyrics are:
"You're a goal scoring superstar hero.
Lying in his uniform, dying in the sun."
Seriously though, Richard Joseph was a superb musician and Jon Hare making the Amiga sing to his music was the icing and cherry on an already rich and moist fruitcake. Um...
I have a tasty collection of Amiga games (and their huge boxes) and three Amigas to play them on.
But the emotional heart of my collection is my complete collection of Amiga Power, (including issue 0) and the disks, postcards, posters, books, etc. I'm currently reading through them and the nostalgia is great of course but the best thing is seeing the first seeds of the future appear: the demise of the Amiga, the impending arrival of the SNES in the UK, a rumoured thing called the PSX, a FIFA game (which was full of scripting and could do with a sequel), a Gamesmaster TV programme (also full of scripting and in need of sequels), the Internet, jokes about Michael J (snip, that's enough seeds of the future - ed).
Would I sell it all? Yes, once the novelty of nostalgia has worn off.
@neyoung8 @The__Goomba @VanillaLake Nintendo advertised that the Super Luigi DLC would be available at £8.99 so my thought is that they simply didn't realise that removing the standalond Super Mario would remove the option to buy the DLC.
To avoid eye strain and fatigue a VR headset needs both screens to render images at a high resolution and a high frame rate (unless graphics quality is to be significantly compromised). This will be a challenge for Nintendo if it is to continue with its low cost approach to console hardware with the NX. So, I suspect that Reggie might be trying to downplay the charms of VR so that people don't consider its absence from the NX an important issue when deciding whether to buy one.
In other words, Reggie might be trying to shape our expectations to match what the NX is going to offer. It'll be interesting to see if this downplay of VR is a message that Nintendo continues with in the future.
@AyeHaley I see the future of the SP campaign being an action puzzler, like a more platform-orientated version of Portal. The current SP felt more like a test of ideas (great ideas) with too much potential left untapped.
In the meantime I'd like to see some of those ideas appear in MP maps, such as the sponge bridges and ink jet transporters, with both teams jostling to control them.
I agree that the gameplay looks too slow. Super Off Road wasn't much faster, but the tracks were so tight and bumpy that the tempo of the action was high. This looks like a poor man's Super Skidmarks (a game in which you could drive novelty cows and tow caravans).

It's Mario Day next Tuesday. That would be a prime day for a Direct, especially if a new Mario game is to be announced.

@Gerald Ah yes: clock, hammer, Earth, apple, tap. I wonder if the Penguin sponsorship is still present.

Re: Humble Friends of Nintendo Bundle Offers Games at a Huge Discount
@kyuubikid213 No problem, thanks anyway. Still, I bought two games on the cheap and the pleasure of giving two away - not a bad evening
Re: Humble Friends of Nintendo Bundle Offers Games at a Huge Discount
@kyuubikid213 I'm in the UK, but maybe Darksiders 2 isn't region locked. If you're happy to try then my e-mail address is [email protected]
Thanks

I have a couple of 3DS codes that I don't need:
Retro City Rampage DX
Shantae and the Pirate's Curse
If you'd like one (but not both) state your preference and an e-mail address and it's yours. First come first serve.
