And that's not even counting the eShop releases! Not to mention, it's the first Nintendo handheld to officially have a Super Smash Bros. Oh, and the fact that it still has years to come.

@Lithium: Dude/dudette, how many years did it take for all those games to come out? The 3DS is just in its 3rd year and it already has a lot of great games yet to come. Just because there wasn't any sequels to the games you mentioned doesn't mean the whole system is a failure or a "Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem" machine. It's just a matter of taste, you might not like what the 3DS has right now but others LOVE it.

So, wait, gaming devices shouldn't be focused on gaming anymore? Can you even compare a gaming device to a tablet/phone with a straight face? Two different universes, really. The tablet is nice and all for the movies, surfing the internet and those kinds of stuff, but when it comes to gaming, it sucks big time. I don't want to play time wasters, I want to play immersive games, they're the escape from the darkness of this world (at least, for me) and not games I'll be playing for 5 minutes...

Really, it's just your opinion, many of the artists are loving this in every way and it's a great way for them to show their talents.

@belmont You get different control schemes (I think the Pro Controller is supported, not sure), off-TV and Miiverse.

I think one of those would be that Art Academy thingy. You're asking why and need proof? Well, Nintendo's own site said it will release on August 7th. And when is the ND? August 7th. And when does the eShop update in Europe? Around 4-5PM (even in other days besides Thursday). And when is the ND? 4PM. Besides, it's not the first time they just go and "show trailer insert eShop game/app here is available right now on the eShop" as a surprise as no one expects it. Oh, btw, you won't find the whole August 7th thingy because they instantly removed it and put TBD again. Of course, it's just speculation on my part, feel free to correct anything wrong I said.

3) Legend of Zelda Wind Waker
4) Maybe the October/September Wii U update

@DerpSandwich Wait, then all remakes aren't remakes either because at the core it's the same game. Of course it's the same game. It's a "remake" which is something old being remade, so at the core it's the same. But as for the pricing, I cannot argue about that because I'm right there with you that it should've been cheaper, but I won't really complain about. As for the game not going down in price, don't most games that sell monstrously don't go down in price that easily?

@DerpSandwich Still, for those who didn't play this, it's a completely new game to them. I don't think Nintendo was aiming at those who played till they got sick, but people who wants nostalgia with a fresh coat of pain or people who never played this, and they will gladly pay the price. Also, this is a complete remake (if you don't believe me, look at the textures of the E3 trailer), not an HD upscale like the other $40 ports and it has even new features.

@Footballer42 Well, they already said it's being retyped to the new type, Fairy. I suppose it's a given that it will be featured in the game that way.

@AlexSora89 The games almost NEVER have subtitles for my mother language, so I get what you mean. And that's one of the main reasons of how I can speak to you in English right now. XD But I wouldn't mind (and I don't think anyone would) if they game us KHIII on Wii U even if it was English-only :/

@Rizsparky So what? A few problems came up, why do we care? It's not like the 3DS is in a desert of games. I have a lot of games I don't have the time to catch-up with from the flood of games every month. Patience won't hurt anyone and nobody will die from waiting a few days, even weeks, it's not the world's end and there's absolutely zero reason to work yourself up on something like this.

"Nintendo of Europe regrets to announce that Flipnote Studio 3D, originally due for a European launch on Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS on 1st August, will be delayed. Due to unexpectedly high levels of user activity since the launch of the application in Japan on 24th July, we decided to postpone our European launch until we can deliver the best possible service to users. We apologise for any inconvenience this delay may cause, and will announce a new launch date as soon as possible."

I'm still a bit on the fence about this due to the price... BUT, if they do add Scrooge McDuck, Timon, Pumbaa, Mickey, Donald or Goofy, I'll throw money at the nearest retailer's doorstep! 8D

I'm glad that they stopped charging 10 quids more than everywhere else. at least, it's the same price as the suggested retail price and not higher.

Never been able to try this out as I'm not that old, but I can;t wait to play the remaster! I didn't play the game, but the cartoon was a huge part of my childhood.

@KingH3nrry and @wasf Because they're supposed to be a retail eShop download, but with no retail physical version available. This is supposed to be something along the pricing of indie games.

@wasf It's a eShop only game, so $20 is a max, I suppose.

@LinktotheFuture Exactly! And people imagine that everything can be done in a whim. Don't like delays? Why not just get people to work under you and try to make the game/update yourself? I seriously don't mind waiting if we'll be sure that there won't be any damage done to my system by it. And besides, doesn't that mean you can get even more features and nice polishing? @King47 Sorry if this comes out as rude, but, what's up with that? Why would anyone care if the game M rated or not? What does blood, extreme violence, alcohol or nudity/sexuality add to the gameplay or anything at all? Why can't it be rated lower just so can everyone enjoy it no matter what their age is?

@One-Winged-Pit Yeah, I know how you feel. Every time I go buy something from the eShop I'm always worried about what would happen if my 3DS goes bye-bye and losing everything. But I'm gonna be honest and say that I'll still buy this, especially if they do as they promised and make it cheaper because they don't actually have to upset retailers this way.
