Haha if you think this is bad, just wait till people realize the McDonald's doesn't sell food. They actually sell health problems and childhood obesity.
@BlackMayge This is exactly why I stick to playing games on Xbox and PlayStation unless there's a cool triple A Nintendo exclusive I wanna play. Then I'll commit to that for a week of two, and it's back to proper voice chat and stable multiplayer games.
I feel like it's lazier too stop in the middle of your walk to play a video game, when the alternative is to keep walking and let your game play itself. 🤷🏻♂️
@GHROTIC Eh... That's an interesting thing to be bothered by... It's not really that outdated. They give you plenty ways decent to manage your stamina in most games. In fact many games in general have some kinda stamina or mana management. Eating food and resting usually helps and in Rune Factory if you just stand still for a while, you can slowly recover that way as well. Some games even have a bath house or hot spring. In most of these games there are ways to get more efficient equipment or a leveling up system. Is it a hassle? Just another thing to keep up with? Probably. Definitely. But as a video game, it's important because it adds depth and some level of realism. I invite you to come to my dad's farm in the real world and do nothing but till the fields, cut wood, feed the animals, cut and pull weeds, bust up rocks, make fences, cook and grow crops all day without a break from 6AM-10PM. No bathroom breaks and no food or water breaks. It's not possible. That's why games that are based off some aspect of real life have a stamina system. In a life sim game, you will be limited. So take care of your character as you would yourself, and stamina should be less an issue.
From a logical perspective not really? I mean just because there are thousands of these games, doesn't mean I'm going to buy every single one. Game developers have the right to make whatever they want. "Harvest Moon like" games are fun and fairly simple. Some are better than others and people get to pick the perfect experience for them because of how many there are to chose from. I personally prefer Stardew Valley and Rune Factory and am looking forward to Monster Harvest. I was also disappointed in the last Harvest Moon game though and the newest story if seasons looks too similar.
Hmmm. I'm thinking I'm going to probably pass. I'm not a huge fan of amiibo cards. Or having to go out and go find the ones that I want. And also as a guy I'm not particularly crazy about Sanrio stuff. I would be happy to get the Legend of Zelda stuff back though. Give me the master sword pedestal, a triforce, and the Majora's Mask again. It'd be interesting to see them make more warp stuff. Maybe even add Pokemon stuff, it'd be interesting to have a Pokemon villager.
I relate to this so much. I burned out somewhere around the diving and fireworks. Only really cutting it back on to collect the seasonal and Holiday DIY. Sometimes this endeavor would take a bit of time. I don't usually get to play with people or find people to play with. I'm more of the introvert. Winter has felt a little different for me though. Maybe it's the Snow really changing the scenery, but my decorations really stand out in the snow ❤️❄️
I literally love playing it on TV. It's to play games like smash and mario kart on the big screen with friends and family and I like Animal Crossing and all the Zelda games on switch on big screen. I enjoy the BIGNESS while at home. It's more fulfilling. I almost never play it handheld at home. And that goes for every person I know as well. We play it handheld on the go. And if we wanna play smash. We use the console already connected to the TV. Gaming just feels better on bigger.
This is the biggest load of ***** I've ever heard. I've seen it played and even played it myself and it kinda made me love OOT and MM a bit more. It had several new things in it including an item and a boss that were original enough. ***** Nintendo for real. It's not Kazes fault some people can create some amazing things that are equally as fun with less effort. 🤷🏻♂️
Wow, this is actually really stupid. People have been paying for third party services for things in game since Pokemon SwSh Genning services, and they didn't do much about that. But now Nintendo is mad because other people are paying money to make their islands cute and houses cute, and to have their favorite villagers? Yeah okay... Sounds like a meme.
I'll skip doing this one... There's not a whole lot of worthy items to duplicate with this, plus all the prep work, plus all the time it takes to just get a single item.
This honestly just kind of makes me sad. You're going to give us Tekken 7 and Mortal Kombat 11? And yet we can't have Soul Calibur 6? I don't know about you. But I know I as well as a ton of other friends who are using the Nintendo switch we're hoping Soul Calibur 6 would make its way to the console. Most of my friends were talking about that more than Mortal Kombat or Tekken. And that completely fell flat on its face. The fact that we're also not getting jump force? Is extremely disappointing as well. But by all means give us Tekken 7 and a ton of indie games.

Huh... What a shame... Looks like I won't get a chance to play it.
Well I hope everyone else enjoys it.

Re: Soapbox: Why Do People Love Games Like Stardew Valley And Animal Crossing?
Rune Factory is another series like this. It's my favorite Fantasy Life/RPG game

Dude. Nintendo is becoming so toxic. It's the last thing anyone needs right now.

Animal Crossing New Horizons:
Nintendo changes the world in at least 3 updates.

Glad to see that it's the same way it's always been. I bet that you can find ants the same way too.
