Re: Platinum: Nintendo Has Been The "White Knight" Behind Bayonetta 2's Development

@Kirk I want Nintendo to succeed, but I want them to still be Nintendo. I know I'm probably the minority, but I don't think Nintendo should do what Sony and Microsoft are doing.
The PS4 and Xbone may be tech wise better, but game wise suck right now. Neither are really that impressive when you get down to it. The cost of building those things must be huge, and for what? A stronger PS3? Stronger 360? Kinect 2.0? Right now the Wii U has the better games, and while they have lost the AAA 3rd party (for now anyway), maybe it's time people gave the indies more of chance. I don't game for power, I game to have fun. I enjoy Nintendo for Nintendo, whether or not they beat the competition or end up selling a healthy amount of Wii Us.
No one is asking you to pretend the Wii U is great, if you don't enjoy the it, that's fine. What I am asking is that people accept that the Nintendo of the past is the same Nintendo as now, just in a way different position.

@btao Like other people said before: Nintendo is not going to grow with you. The real problem is that you are too busy comparing who they are to what you want them to be. Listen, @Kirk too if you're reading this, the glory days of the NES/SNES days are gone, and Nintendo's violent grasp on the industry is gone too. Gaming has changed far too much from those days, the more you try to compare Nintendo who they are now to they were, the more distant you'll become towards them.

@brucelebnd Most hate I see come from either: disillusioned gamers (people who wanted Nintendo to grow up with them, or carry false ideas about Nintendo in general) or fanboys (past-Nintendo or the competition).
Nintendo themselves haven't made it easy for them to receive praise. "Where is the 3rd party?", "This online sucks!", "Why are my games tied to the hardware?", the list goes on. I'll admit flat out Nintendo makes mistakes, Iwata mistakes, and even our game design king Miyamoto makes mistakes (Sticker Star anyone?). Whether or not they can recover, depends entirely on their actions and gamers being able accept who Nintendo is now, and not what they want them to be.

Re: Hacking Group Claims To Have Discovered Wii U Homebrew Exploit

@FullbringIchigo Preach it!
I like homebrew as much as the next guy, but it'll only take a while before games get dumped onto the internet leading to piracy. Wii U Hax staff, if you're reading this: I hope you realized you've opened a can of worms.
Some one report this to Nintendo quickly. I'm sorry guys, but this is not the time hacking .

Re: Remake Request: ActRaiser

@SirQuincealot The game is half platformer, half god sim.
You can only play the platforming levels when you: a) visit the area for the first time or b) have to beat the boss of the area.

Re: Ubisoft To Release New Wii U Title ''Know Your Friends''

Oh boy guys! It's shovel ware!
Look, we get it Ubisoft. Your games aren't selling well on Wii U (or are they? I wouldn't know), but that is no reason to give us crap and expect it to sell! Give us your A-game effort and advertise the crap out of it and maybe you'll end up with a huge seller.
