Re: Latest Iwata Asks Episode Reveals Why Paper Mario Sticker Star Abandoned RPG Elements

As someone still planning on getting this, it's the blunder of the century. All I, and most Paper Mario fans, want IS another TTYD. Stop with this branching out business and go back to giving us what we all loved about Paper Mario to begin with: an RPG with a great story and lovable characters and environments! Gosh dang. Couldn't even give the Toads in this one hats. Man.

Of note is that you can't setup User accounts for Miis that cannot be edited. That means, if you have any Miis from your 3DS you'd like to play as in Nintendo Land, you've got to first make sure that they're set so that anyone can edit them.

Re: YouTube App Goes Live on Wii U

It's pretty terrible. Can't view favorites, can't view likes, can't watch on the gamepad, runs slowly, playlists are limited, can't view by account without subscriptions, can't browse for other videos while a video is playing, can't add to favorites, can't rate, can't nothin'. I complained about this on Miiverse and was accused of being an Xbox fanboy. Go figure.

Re: Reggie - Wii U Is "Absolutely The Beginning Of A New Generation"

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about third party developer support once the next Microsoft and Sony platforms are unveiled, but at the same time graphics aren't getting that much better and that's really all that can be improved upon. I do agree that the Wii U is the first next-gen system, but I can only hope the support lasts.

Re: Talking Point: The Realities of Wii U System Memory Have Become Clear

I don't plan on buying any retail games digitally, but for downloadable games this may be an issue. As a matter of fact, the only games taking up space on my Xbox 360's hard drive are games installed from discs to decrease fan noise and speed up load time, but the Wii U seems to have both of those covered without need for installation so that's fine. If downloadable games never get any bigger than they are on Xbox Live Arcade, I should be fine with the 32GB model for a solid couple years or more.

I actually stayed away from news about this game in order to distance myself from spoiling the experience, but I succumbed to reading this review. Dang, does this look like an atmospheric masterpiece. Gonna have to give it a try after Liberation Maiden this week.

Short length has never been a problem for me as long as the gameplay is superb. Vanquish was my favorite game of 2010 and everybody said that wasn't great because of its short length. Not to mention, this game gives me a huge Zone of the Enders vibe for some reason so I bet it's going to be way fun to play and replay.

Re: First Impressions: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate

Visually and audibly, this game is already disappointing enough for me to have no interest. It's all grimdark bloom and doom nonsense instead of the lush and alive environments of the previous handheld installment, Order of Ecclesia. Gone are the rockin' tunes of past Castlevania games too, replaced with orchestrated "moody" tracks that just sound monotone and uninspired. Wrap it all up with a dull, slow paced combo system instead of the quick whipping action of the past and you've just lost me entirely. Lords of Shadow was immensely underwhelming and just didn't feel anything like a Castlevania game to me. Should the series continue on this route, Harmony of Despair will be the last game in the franchise I consider worthwhile.

Could you guys stop posting things Pachter says on this website? They only serve to irritate everybody due to the unintelligent childlike remarks he makes every day of his life. I see no way that ANY of the articles Nintendolife has put out that are just Pachter quotes actually constitute as news.
