@Corbs I'm thinking it'll do pretty well given the head start and cheaper price. It's one thing to have a less expensive system, it's another thing to have it out for Christmas when the competitor won't. I'm sure 3DS will be juuuuust fine.
But why? How do they expect to get people to want an all new system when they're showing the public not even they want to abandon their old one yet? They really ought to push the 3DS more, especially with Christmas right around the corner. It just doesn't add up!
I was going to suggest a "Second Opinion" section edit into the review, but it seems like the comments have it covered. Most everyone here loved it, and I couldn't be happier to be in this tasteful community, haha.
So I think this makes this the second review I've disagreed with you guys on. It's short, but very very enjoyable and I still play it from time to time. Definitely one I'll never forget.
I would be interested in this game if it were Nintendo themed. Really, no Tetris after Tetris DS will ever grab my attention again without being its true successor.
I personally love it. Today was my first time ever playing it, and it's got everything you could want out of a portable Mega Man. Hard levels, fluid controls, and great music.
It's really sad to see no online support, especially when it looks like they put so much work into the multiplayer. The multiplayer alone makes it look like an entirely new game!
I probably won't even get a chance to play the multiplayer since I don't know many people near me who even own a 3DS yet. Sigh. For a system that seems intensive on the online capabilities, you really missed out on this one, Nintendo.
Maybe THEY just don't get it. Smartphones are the worst medium for portable gaming and house the worst games on the market. High sales or low sales, nothing beats Nintendo quality.
By the sounds of it, none of you have ever seen Video Games Live.
Orchestrated video game concerts are the best, and VGL remains the best concert I've ever been to. This one is sure to be no exception, and I'm sure it'll be great.
Hell yes that's enough to appease me. Metroid Fusion alone would have been good enough.
I also know a lot of people who make this move look like a success. A few feel like they need to buy it at $250 now so they can get those games, and a lot of others are definitely getting it once that price drop hits.
So this guy walks up to a doctor and clears his throat. The doctor asks, "What seems to be the problem?" The guy responds in raspy voice, "I'm a little hoarse," And the doctor responds, "I believe that's called a foal. What do I look like, a veterinarian?"
As I sit in bed browsing this website on my 3DS, I think back to the good old days before everyone did nothing but complain on the internet. We get an arcade classic and free video service added to a virtual shop, and everyone starts whining about how the system is now dead because they can't play that one old game they've either played before or could easily play elsewhere for a much cheaper price. E3 becomes instantaneously forgotten along with all the great software and support shown during that week.

Re: Nintendo's Latest 3DS Global Release Schedule
Oh my goodness.
These are 3DS titles for Pete's sake. You Rainfall supporters are hopeless.
Re: Review: Kirby's Return to Dream Land (Wii)
Kind of weird that they didn't make it so you can drop abilities with the A button instead of the minus button.
But nonetheless, a superb game and a true successor to the masterpiece that was Kirby Super Star.

Re: Interview: Collecting Smiles - Colors! 3D
It looks a lot like a handheld version of PaintTool SAI which is absolutely perfect.
Re: Review: Tetris Axis (3DS)
I would be interested in this game if it were Nintendo themed. Really, no Tetris after Tetris DS will ever grab my attention again without being its true successor.
Re: Panoramic Super Mario 3D Land Artwork is Awesome
It... It's beautiful.
Re: Talking Point: Should Nintendo Regularly Offer Free Games for Download?
I think what would really help is the ability to pay just as much as the game costs instead of $5-$10 increments.
Re: Review: Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (GameCube)
Probably the first review I've disagreed with from you guys.
Re: Review: Rune Factory 3: A Fantasy Harvest Moon (DS)

Shame you didn't make the headline "God Awful."
Re: Talking Point: The Most Memorable Nintendo 64 Games
Star Fox 64 and Diddy Kong Racing, for me. They were my most played games, and both of them hold familial memories!
Re: Yuji Naka's Rodea the Sky Soldier is Finished
It looks terrific. Really gives me an adventure vibe with old school gameplay mechanics. And those colors are just great!
Re: Tetris 3DS Drops Into Europe on 21st October
I would get this if it were Nintendo themed. No Tetris will ever be as cool as DS.
Re: There's Hope for Layton vs. Phoenix Wright Outside Japan
As somebody who decided to buy a 3DS right when this game was announced, I am thoroughly excited. The screenshots are looking excellent, too.

I fist pumped and gave a hoorah. Well said, Iwata.
Re: Talking Point: The Second Circle Pad and the 3DS Evolution
I loved the DS Rumble Pak. I wish the 3DS was compatible because Star Fox 64 3D needs it.

@James Consider my interest piqued!
Re: GAME and Rising Star Team Up for Artwork Giveaway

This is what I wanted from the FIRST Rytmik. I'm so ready.
Re: NES Ambassador Games for North America Available Now
Still nothing, and I gotta get going for class. It's a forty minute ride there. Sigh.
Re: NES Ambassador Games for North America Available Now
Definitely only on the West Coast, I imagine. I'm in Colorado and nothing yet.
EDIT: Apparently not, as most of my West Coast friends are saying otherwise. As do my East Coast friends. Hm.
Re: Fatal Frame Spin-Off Looms Over 3DS
I've never NOPE'd so hard at a concept in my life. This sounds absolutely horrifying.
I can't wait.

Re: New Look Wii Released This Christmas
No GameCube controllers? I hope new Christmas Wii owners don't want to play Smash Bros. or Muramasa, because it's gonna kinda suck.
Re: Wii Budget Range Grows with Super Mario Galaxy and More
I own all of them but Mario Strikers Charged. I was a big fan of the original on the GameCube, but is the Wii one worth picking up?

Re: Here's Nintendo's Most Up to Date Release Schedule
What do the double asterisks mean? I better be getting my Fortune Street, Nintendo.
Re: 3DS Mario Titles Land in November and December
It has 3D in the title, eh? Heh. Kind of a let down.
Though I suppose 64 did it.
Re: Mario and Sonic 2012 Gets Release Dates, Yellow Box
At Best Buy, the boxes for Wii games are yellow when the game is used. Hm.
Re: Uh Oh, Now Namco Goes for Single 3DS Save File
And yet again, it's a score based arcade game. I really see no problem here. Again.
Re: Nudge Nudge, Marvel Pinball Rolls Towards Wii U and 3DS
You cared enough to comment in over one sentence!
I for one like Marvel and enjoy pinball.
