I'm not sure whether I should buy the bundle (console and Mario Kart World) and save money, or buy the physical version separately. I'm not usually a big fan of buying digital games... What do you think? Is the savings worth it to you?

Depends on your budget and how often you jump from one game to the next.

If your budget is tight, you only play a couple or few games a year, or you play on Nintendo platforms just for Nintendo games? Go with the bundle.

If you play a whole bunch of games on Switch, then perhaps you'll get tired of MKW? Then buy a physical copy. You can trade or sell once you're bored with it. Get some money back.

But i mean… Even if you have no money issue, you could have principles. (Saving money generally)

@lovesushi sorry I'm not much help here but I just wanted to say that I too share your dilemma, I don't have bundles of cash for Nintendo's first party games but really don't like the idea of a digital only version especially since it's not resellable.

I'd get the physical version separately, or maybe buy the bundle, but sell the code for a small profit.

I prefer my multiplayer games digitally these days so that I always have them available without needing to switch cartridges each time so it was an easy decision for me thankfully.

I ordered the physical version for 89,99€. It will be my first Switch 2 game, so of course I want the full experience. And since this is the physical version, I will have an item, that is still worth alot of money, even after usage.

I most likely won't be buying a copy of MKW day-one because I recently bought this.

I am not responsible for the situation you are in.

I also think that many retailers will reduce prices like they do nowadays too. I never paid the full nintendo price at my shop.

Digitally bundled with NS2. Multi player games just makes sense. Will buy physical when I find a good deal.

I just went the Mario Kart bundle.

Here (Aus), the single console by itself is 699, and the separate Mario Kart game in physical copy is 120.

So that's about 820 dollars, compared to the bundle which is 769. It's a fair saving, and I could go some way to getting a second game with the money I'm saving here.

I'll get a physical copy when the time's right.

I have a while to decide since I'm not getting the system soon (which gives me hope some of these pricing issues can be fixed in the meanwhile), but even at 80 dollars, there is s part of me that would vastly prefer having a physical copy for such a major Nintendo game.

But to be fair, I have Wind Waker HD as a download, and I only got it because of Mario Kart 8 on Wii U giving me it for free, so maybe it would be fitting to only have the next Mario Kart downloaded.

If I can find the bundle, the bundle. If not, I would go with physical if physical and digital are the same price.

We have to see what the Standalone MKW will cost Physically to know what to expect at this time.

I own 600+ physical Switch games.

I'm officially done with physical. Just not worth it. Plus the convenience of all games- your entire library, being available instantly without carrying cartridges is incredible.

Only exception is I'll get Cyberpunk physically to save space since it's on a 64gb cart. That 256gb internal storage + 1tb mSD Express is too valuable to not save 60gb when given the opportunity. Will just permanently keep that cart in the slot.

If I don't get the bundle, im not buying MKW right away. I'll wait til it's close to 60 years later. I'll just grab the new Fast racing game at launch instead which is what I did for switch 1 on launch. Reasonably priced great racers from those guys.

This is the issue at hand now. Games are getting bigger and Digital games aren't getting smaller. aka CyberPunk is 64gb cart that's a Big Mac for you. If you could expand internal to 1tb storage that would be so sick. And then have 1tb or 2tb exSD would help at that point. But this is why I will have more Physical cart as much as possible for the foreseeable future.

I am buying the non bundle and purchased MK separately because I like having the physical game cases on my shelf.

Bundle your getting MKW for only 50.00 otherwise your paying 79.99 for the physical when it launches. That's a choice people make but if your buying Joy-Con2 charger and Pro controller - for me I will have to wait to get the games later if I go with hardware first. They won't launch the system until June 5 so at that point is the waiting game.
