Shantae: Half-Genie Hero (Switch eShop)
$14.99 (-50%)
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero has never been better than on Switch; the enhanced versatility of the console lends the game a new sort of appeal and convenience that wasn’t there before. This is a charming, colourful, and sometimes challenging Metroidvania that will no doubt prove to be a memorable addition to your collection.
While it could be a little longer, we would give this one a strong recommendation to anyone who hasn’t yet picked it up for any other platform. For those of you who have, know that you’re essentially just paying for the ability to play this on the go, but that’s still arguably worth the asking price. Either way, this is one of the most polished Shantae games.

Shovel Knight Dig (Switch eShop)
$14.99 (-40%)
Shovel Knight Dig is another triumphant and enjoyable entry in the popular indie knight’s growing legacy, offering up thrilling, challenging gameplay that will appeal to fans both old and new. Though it may be a little on the short side, every minute of Shovel Knight Dig positively oozes quality, whether that be the snappy action platforming or the fresh 16-bit art style and animation.
We’d give this one a high recommendation to anyone who enjoyed the original platformers or to anyone looking for a tough (but not offputtingly tough) new roguelite. Shovel Knight Dig has got it where it counts and can stand tall beside its noble predecessors.
Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon (Switch eShop)
$11.99 (-40%)
Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon is a smartly designed and truly delightful revitalization of the falling block puzzle genre. High intensity, combat-driven gameplay, oodles of replayability, a cute art style, and a surprising amount of depth make this one a ridiculously easy recommendation.
If you’re at all a fan of Shovel Knight or falling block puzzlers, you owe it to yourself to give this a shot; even if you don’t fall neatly into either of those camps, we’d still very much suggest you give this one a look.
Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove (Switch eShop)
$21.99 (-45%)
Shovel Knight was excellent in vanilla form, but Treasure Trove includes absolutely everything that developer Yacht Club has created for the game since its Kickstarter success back in 2013.
That includes the extra campaigns Plague of Shadows, Specter of Torment, and the more recent King of Cards, plus multiplayer brawler Showdown which further increases the attractiveness of an already incredibly compelling package.
These games are fantastic odes to the glory days of 8-bit(+) platforming, and having the complete Shovel Knight experience in one spot makes this a must-have for Switch owners - especially those who have so far failed to dig into this game and its add-ons. Strike the earth!
Signalis (Switch eShop)
$13.99 (-30%)
Signalis came out of nowhere to provide survival horror fans a near-perfect love letter to the long-running genre.
It is at its best when you're darting between enemies, using stealth and patience rather than brute force. While some of the combat encounters felt a little forced, the puzzles are just the right mix of challenging and approachable. The surreal imagery and unique storytelling structure add to the overall polish of a game that is the perfect length for what it is.
There have been an awful lot of homages to classic survival horror, but Signalis stands as one of the best.
Slay the Spire (Switch eShop)
$8.49 (-66%)
Slay the Spire is an endlessly addictive roguelike card-battler that’s a perfect fit for Switch; a beautifully balanced game that arrived on Nintendo's system with all the benefits of an extended period of Early Access on PC. Its combination of ferocious battles, entertaining chance encounters, and selection of three impressively different player characters make every run to the top a nerve-wracking and totally absorbing affair.
Massively inventive sets of cards combine majestically into hugely destructive combos and attack and defence options fuse perfectly together, enabling you to use the information provided by the brilliantly transparent Intent system to strategise endlessly against hordes of foul monstrosities.
Sure, you’ll eventually see every enemy and chance encounter, and yes, there are a few frame rate niggles here and there, but overall this is one dungeon crawler that will live long in our system memories.
STALKER: Call of Prypiat (Switch eShop)
$15.99 (-20%)
Call of Prypiat is the most refined experience of the STALKER trilogy. Everything from the HUD to the survival mechanics has been optimised to give the best experience for would-be Stalkers. Visible status icons and an on-screen quickslot view mean going into menus less frequently.
The shooting is still fantastic, with minor refinements of Chornobyl and Clear Sky's system making this the smoothest bullet thrower of the bunch. It’s worth noting that the generous assist options present on these versions mitigate the series' notorious fiddly aiming, too.
Of course, there are many (many) wonderful 8/10s also on sale that we haven't listed above, but you'll have to sniff them out for yourself — we'd be here all day otherwise!
Let us know if you picked up any discounted delights in the 'Supercharge Sale' and give us a shout if you find any 9/10s that we have missed.

I'll probably pick up Mario Strikers: Battle League and Katamari Damacy Reroll from this list!
Could you put the relevant country in the title like you usually do?
That's... the perfect amount of games. 😏

Yeah… I am ready for Switch 2. Every week, every sale… I already own all these games.
@ChessboardMan
The US is having the sale, I'm not sure about other countries but the article shows EU games...
@Spider-Kev that's kinda messed up man
@ChessboardMan Done.
Curious to see if Europe will get this "Supercharge Sale" and what games will be included in comparison - regardless, happy for those in the US interested in getting any of these!
Shredders Revenge isn't in the US sale, it is Splintered Fate
Streets of Rage 4 is not in the US sale
Not a bad list, and I definitely recommend The Messenger to anyone who's played Sea of Stars and wants more lore from that world, and I also encourage anyone who played The Messenger to give Sea of Stars a try. And if you haven't played either, pick up both; Sabotage Studios is an insanely talented group of devs!
I got a $50 eShop card on my birthday during the weekend, and ended up picking up Dead Cells, which isn't on this list, but currently you can get the base game and its DLC for slightly less than the regular price of the former.
I managed to pick up both that bundle and Cult of the Lamb at regular price, and with my gold points, didn't spend any money of my own!
Dang, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice finally got a discount again? It's been on sale before, but I think it has been a few years.
Some great sales for sure. I can particularly recommend Chicory: A Colorful Tale, Katamari Damacy REROLL, and Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove from this list. Unfortunately it's sometimes hard for me to get to some second and third party titles. I hope to get to some of the other listed titles eventually.
@N00BiSH His comment is already removed and now I’m curious what was said lol
Full Metal Furies is an incredible game if you've got another person to play with you
Don't know if it's in the list, but I got Another Code: Recollection as soon as Deku Deals notified me.
Nintendo: if you're really us, what number am I thinking of?
Nintendo life: Sixty NIIIINEEEE DUUUUDDEEESSS
Nintendo: WOAH
@Altaria_97
If you are able to message me through the forum or private message, I can tell you.
I'll be picking up Epyx Rogue and Xenocrisis. I may cave on a few others.
@Tyranexx Did you say Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is on sale?? I had that on my backlog FOREVER and just gave up because it never went on sale.
I let them pass on December, but hope I can finally get Sonic Frontiers DDE and the DDU of Sonic Superstars.
@MeloMan Yep! Hellblade is currently on sale for $8.99 on the NA eshop according to DekuDeals. Looks like it actually had another brief sale recently, but before that the chart shows the last discount was in late 2019.
It's absolutely wild to me that Arms is still as expensive as it is.
As @Bret already mentioned 8 year old ARMS for $41.99 is pretty ridiculous. It should have been $39.99 about 3 years ago as part of the “Players Choice” line and regularly on sale for $19.99. 🤑
I only got to F and stopped, waste of my time.
If you don’t have the Messenger yet, at that price, do yourself a favor and get one of the absolute finest indie games of all time, potentially a top 5 all time retro style indie. It’s brilliant.
Momodora too, it’s such an unsung classic Metroidvania.
I picked up Shiren the Wanderer 5 for 4 bucks because I’ve been intrigued with what I’ve heard and want to see if it’s for me.
I've played a handful of these (and am looking to buy two more based off what I've read here and heard elsewhere). If anyone reading the comments is interested at all in Metroidvanias or classic JRPGs I highly recommend Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and Sea of Stars respectively. Both have some stumbles with their story but the visuals and gameplay in both are top notch.
Heh-heh-heh-heh-heh-heh-heh-heh-heh... 69
Thank you for taking the extra time to put the region in the headline. I'm sick of so many news blogs both tech and gaming related reporting on some deal or sale, only for it to be available in a specific region/country. I figure they won't ever change as they just want the extra clicks, at the cost of annoying readers by waiating their time.
Lotta new games that I haven't seen before. a ton look spectacular too. usually eshop sales will have a few gems covered in a bunch of crap.
and I might finally be able to get Katamari Damacy! that's worth the entire sale in and of it's self
Nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice.
69 games? Nice.
69? That’s a laugh! Surely it should have been 22 or something divisible by 2. Otherwise you’re all just perverts at Nintendolife!
NintendoLife: "Games You Should Pick Up In Nintendo's eShop Sale"
Me: Nice 😄
NintendoLife: "69 Games You Should Pick Up In Nintendo's eShop Sale"
Me: Nice 😎
69 you say? Any particular reason that number was specifically chosen? 🤔
No way I’d give a 9+ to either Sea of Stars or Rogue Legacy. I found both nowhere close to deserving the hype and acclaim they’ve both received.
Part Time UFO is great!
It's probably looked over by most, but it's one of the most played games on my switch. Incredibly charming and you can see love went into it, and the kids absolutely love it too.
