Fire Emblem Three Houses

It just keeps getting better and better for Fire Emblem: Three Houses. After recent success in the UK and Japanese charts, last week the NPD revealed the Switch release was the largest launch for a Fire Emblem game in US history.

Now, Nielsen company SuperData has revealed the game sold an estimated 800,000 digital units worldwide in July. This makes Fire Emblem: Three Houses the best digital launch in the franchise's history. In the same month, it was also the third best-selling digital game globally – right behind Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII. In first place was Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V.

In our review, we gave Fire Emblem: Three Houses nine out of ten stars and said it set a new standard for strategy RPG and would stand as a highlight in the series for years to come.
