JudgeMethos commented on Download Sales Continue to Increase to New Hig...:

That's what I love about the 3ds. The memory card I have is quite large and most of my library is on that card. I WISH the Wii U had a bigger amount of memory. 32 gigs is a joke. I love Nintendo but that was a joke. 300-500 gigs woulda been better. Oh well, anyway, I hope the NX COMPLETELY changes the game for Nintendo when it comes out as far as how memory is used.

JudgeMethos commented on Nintendo NX Doesn't Need To Compete With PlayS...:

@Baker1000 I got you. I'm just sayin that the waybthe PS4 is selling right now, Sony is gonna hold on for awhile. Nintendo can get another 3 years competing against those two. On the other hand, Nintendo always states that they don't compete, so I don't think they're designing the 'NX' to compete but more to keep them afloat.

I normally don't talk about other regions but what is up with the UK? I plan on getting this game for Christmas myself. Not just to support Monolith and Nintendo ut the fact that it actually looks like a great game! Do they care more about shooters or something? I don't really understand what keeps them from buying obvious classics!

Alright... how many if these 'is this the hardest level' blah blah blah are we gonna get from Super Mario Maker. There are gonna be THOUSANDS of HARD levels that are gonna be possibly the hardest. Let's get some REAL news please.

I'm sorry, it LOOKS good, but the animation. That RUN of Samus'. Jeez. It looks like one of those cartoon runs where the character is TRYIN to get away but ends up runnin in place for 5 seconds beore they take off. It just... doesn't look all that great imo.

I own both systems but I'd feel a little ripped off if I bought the PS4 version. 3 years later and it looks like a brighter version of the darker, more atmospheric Wii U version? These screens look alike. The PS4 is lighter and loses that cool filter effect. What a rip! The Wii U is definitely the definitive version.

@Aromaiden I wasn't speaking negatively about it. I've been a Nintendo fan since I was 5. I'm 37 now. I was stating a fact. They won't use anyone elses engines but their own... and I still play their games to this day. Virtual boy is the only system I haven't played of theirs. I have no problem with their games but that Unreal video was cool!

JudgeMethos commented on Nintendo Download: 23rd July (North America):

'3D Streets of Rage 2' is supposed to be available today on 7/23/2015. I'm on the friggin 3ds moff and on this morning and it says 'coming soon to eshop' on July 23, 2015. That's today but I cant download it. What the what?!

JudgeMethos commented on Nintendo Download: 9th July (North America):

I wish they'd get the old AKI wrestling games. I'd LOVE to play No Mercy or WrestleMania 2000 again! Hell, even a remake tgat was hinted for the Wii eshop before would be awesome. They could add it to the 3ds vc too! Also, when is the 3ds virtual console gettin any new games? Seems it's been empty for a bit.

@ Darknyht I'll do ya one better: I read this article about how the Wii U does have some juice under the hood but it's up to the developers to optimize their games based on what it gives. Here's a quote from the article: “I can’t detail the Wii U GPU but remember it’s a GPGPU. So you are lifted from most limits you had on previous consoles. I think that if you have problems making a great looking game on Wii U then it’s not a problem of the hardware.”

Well, guess I'll get the pc version. Based off of comments in the past about how the Wii U was a 'powerful system' and development was going good on it, one would think development was coming along smoothly. Oh well, I WAS holding out for the Wii U version but that's bollocks now!
