We don't take it for granted that so many of you lovely people visit Nintendo Life every day, yet you probably know a lot more about us than we know about you. Therefore our partners at Gamer Network have put together a readership survey so we can get to know our audience a little better.
Nintendo Life is part of Gamer Network - a network of leading video game websites and YouTube channels such as Eurogamer, VG247 and Outside Xbox - who are also responsible for handling our advertising.
The responses given to the survey will directly influence the site - and network's - direction. We would really appreciate it if you have a few spare moments.
Any information you submit is anonymous and used to help us build a picture of who we're talking to. This helps both the editorial team here at Nintendo Life make the site the best it can be, and it helps our friends in the ads team do their jobs, which helps us pay the bills (importantly). As well as telling us a bit about yourself, they've asked for some feedback on the games media in general, such as how you feel about reviews, video, and website subscriptions.
With the demise of Club Nintendo last year, we would be honoured if you transferred some of your survey completing patience credits to helping us out in this survey; it should only take a few minutes for experienced survey hunters such as yourselves.
Are you up for the challenge?

Garbage survey...no thanks...take some time before you decide to post "news" on here....pathetic!
I'd be happy to; it's kind of the least I can do considering how great the site is!
Kinda shady survey, don't waste your time.
Survey what ?
Je ne sais quoi.
For some reason there's no option to be 18 years old. Only under 18 or 19 plus.
@Dakt I dentify as a squid ... wait....or was it a kid? .... What am I?!
Movies - "Tick all that apply" - can only tick one box.
Same for next question.
:/
@zitpig apparently that's all sorted now
The hilarity with that "PIck all that apply" error is this is a network that has channel and outlets dedicated to tech and how things run, yet they failed to differentiate between checkboxes and radio buttons on a third party site.
A round of applause for one of the leading networks people.
I jest. I've made that error myself (It's actually easy to do depending on the site).
I did just see DFs FPS test of Splatoon 2. They sounded a little disappointed there wasn't any dropped frames. Curious,
All done
Done, but on the which consoles do you own I had to put alot of others
That didn't hurt at all! Interested to see the results....
Nintendo life has done so much for me I'm happy to fill out plenty of surveys!
God I miss those club Nintendo surveys 😜
So I did your survey! No stars though 😫
Done. I'm sure I've done one of these in the past with more or less the same questions.
It asked what online service do you intend to sign up to this year. Nintendo weren't included, had to put them in 'other'.
@BensonUii Not fond of different opinions, Joseph Stalin?
"Which other VR headsets do you own?"
Other: Virtual Boy
The question regarding what gaming event would I like to go to, I answered with one that focused on arcade games aswell as console games, plus areas for music, skateboarding, bmx'ing, rollerblading, and wrestling.
There's more than enough gaming event's that include the comic book,film, and anime crowds already. I do enjoy those, but I would like to see some other stuff aswell.
"How do you watch movies at home?"
No choice for "Library" !?!?!??! as if I would pay for movies when the local library loans em for free for 7 days instead of $5 for 24 hrs like Amazon or whoever.
@Zingo
Why garbage? To me it felt like "let's find out what content they like best so we can provide that and get more visitors for our sites"
Win for them and if they post content I like isn't that a win for me?
Clicked Everyday for Nintendo Life, Rarely for IGN and GameSpot, and Never for all the other sites.
@abbyhitter
in which case you should check out Twitch
@BensonUii umm, you mean the "ignore" button?
@BensonUii ...seems to be addressed, as you can now.. Reply
Report....and... Ignore..
..that should make some people happy..
job done rod.
No thanks
@speedracer216 A loan from the library is technically a physical copy, isn't it?
Lots of problematic questions. Many missing "zero". Many missing "other" (e.g. Redbox rentals). Categories are often strange.
I visit Nintendolife several times a day! And sometimes if I'm behind on reading articles, I can spend at least an hour catching up! My favourite Nintendo site and you guys do a great job So of course I'll take the survey sometime this week. When does the survey close?
The survey is well worth doing, since it tells you that you're great after you've completed it.
I tried doing the survey, but apparently I can't in a mobile device...
@Eric258
You're a skid!
Or a Kuid!
You're a skid, you're a kuid, you're a skid, you're a kuid, you're a skid, you're a kuid, you're a skid now!
Tatatatatatatatatatatatatata Tatoon!
That survey is a joke but so is this site so who am I to complain
Long survey but i completed it because I like the website .
Wait, we can ignore? Since when? Finally, I can block all the trolls who don't understand my humor! Mwuhahahaha!
@BensonUii They actually just implemented it a few days ago. There was a forum post about it.
@BensonUii
So use the new ignore feature. (Don't be surprised if it's done back, tho. May get lonely.)
@jswhitfield8 awww! Thanks!
@BLP_Software oh you jester you!
that was fun. will we ever get to see the results? I'm kind of curious to see what other people put for consoles and what kind of games they like to play.
There's no Attack Helicopter in gender selection.
I did the survey. When do we get to see the results?
@Dakt: Every Pokemon game since Crystal.
@Dakt I KNOW, RIGHT!? How dare they refuse to let me identify as an assault helicopter!
@AlwaysGreener Oh my God, you too? We should petition NL to be more inclusive of their metallic airborne brethren.
Finished, but was a little weird...
No thanks you asked for website suggestions several weeks ago and I requested being able to change the white background to black and it is still not implemented. The white background burns my eyes late at night or early in the morning. It is a simple request. Even the Switch offers the option.
@PlywoodStick Indeed.
Done it, but struggle to see what use it'll be to you.
I found Nintendolife as it was one if the few sites reviewing WiiWare games. As long as you keep looking at games outside of the mainstream I'll keep visiting.
@cmk8 I found NintendoLife the same way. Though I think it was called WiiWareWorld back then.
I feel so dirty and used...
You should have more!
Nice to see some people are still here from WiiWare World. That also is how I found this site.
I did the survey. I also love there there is an "ignore" option. I discovered it just the other day.
A lot of bias and errors on the survey but oh well. 🤷🏻♀️
@Utena-mobile I am curious to see the results too. It would be interesting to see how users of Nintendolife answered versus users who found the survey through another site.
@Niinbendo I also agree that if something isn't report worthy to just let it be. At the same time who am I to make the choice for others? I like they gave the option to ignore because more options allows for a more customized user experience and I think that is typical a good thing for a website to shoot for.
Done.
"I found Nintendolife as it was one if the few sites reviewing WiiWare games. As long as you keep looking at games outside of the mainstream I'll keep visiting"
Same with me, and I believe they where also one of the first reviewers of those games. What a contrast with modern times, where it sometimes takes weeks before a review gets released. Sometimes we won't see a review of a game at all!
@antdickens I'm about to take the survey, but there's a big mistake in one of the questions!! I am 18 years old, but when I try and select my age in the drop down menu, there's "under 18" and the next option is "19" then "20" and so on. Why is there no option for 18?
@123akis sorry for the issue, we didn't produce the survey, just select one or the other, it doesn't really matter on the specific age
@BensonUii umm, ignoring the user completely is the function of the feature, hiding just specific comments doesn't really make any sense to me :/
@BensonUii oh okay, so you mean have a placeholder for the hidden comment so it's more obvious. Could do, but I imagine other people prefer not to know that someone they don't like has commented yet again... hard to know which is better! I can easily fix the numbering issue though.
