The latest update to Pokémon GO has introduced daily bonuses which earn additional XP and stardust for monster captures and extra XP and items at PokéStops.
To mark the arrival of this feature, Niantic is enhancing the bonus scheme for a limited period of time:
We are excited to let you know that the new daily bonus feature is rolling out right now. The daily bonuses reward you with XP and Stardust for your first catch of the day, and XP and extra items for your first Photo Disc spin of the day at a PokéStop. You'll get an even bigger bonus if you complete these actions seven days in a row!
To celebrate this feature, from November 7th to November 11th, you'll find more Pokémon out in the world. Moreover, PokéStops will grant more items! Yes — this means more Great Balls, and for Trainers that are level 20 and above — more Ultra Balls!

Keep the higher spawn rate, that's what I say.
Wow! Four whole days!
Yeah I noticed The stop next to my house gave about 7 normal balls and some great and ultraballs as well. And the amount of Pokemons was crazy when I went to buy groceries. Not sure whether this should be permanent but it's fun for now.
I've come across both A Lapras and A Grimer!
The first PokeStop I hit yesterday gave me twelve items. Also caught a strong Clefairy.
I thought the game glitched this morning when a lot of Pokemon spawned next to me, but this change explains that.
Would be great, if there were STOPS ACTUALLY NEAR MY AREA!!! T.T
Time to hunt for the nest spots. Got to take advantage of this to find some Charmanders and other uncommons.
I never actually stopped play, I just play it less.
Most of what I need now comes from either 10k eggs, or evolution's, as such I usually turn the game on for my walks to and from work, and just leave it in my pocket to do it's thing, and only pull it out if I feel it buzz, or when I know I'm by a PokeSpot or my local Dratini spawn point.
Once I finish my Kanto dex, or at least, what can be finished of it, then I'll probably give the game a break until Gen 2 is added.

Past level 20 its seemed a bit of a grind (still can't make headway at gyms) so any help is appreciated.
Funny. I haven't seen a single Pokemon since the day before yesterday. And normally we are swamped with the usual Pidgeys, Spearows and Rattattas, along with the occasional Mr Mime. Not a thing has shown up in 48 hours.
Would have been great if this lasted through the weekend.
Hopefully I can get some time Friday to catch more mon and fill up my Pokedex a bit.

So jealous! I've wanted a Mr Mime since day one. It's all Kangaskhan here.
I've been playing since release especially when I go on my six mile run once or twice a week. It slows me down slightly but my kids really enjoy seeing what new Pokemon we catch and evolve. During the summer we had passes to a local theme park that had Pokestops at every single attraction, which made it easy to collect items. My Pokedex is probably 80 - 90 percent complete and the added Pokemon and items the past two days have been nice.
