The Game Awards are coming up this week, and in addition to world premieres - of which we're hoping there'll be some for Nintendo fans to enjoy - there'll be the actual giving of awards and some musical performances. Prior to now both CHVRCHES and deadmau5 have been confirmed, and now we have a Nintendo remix on the way.

It's confirmed that Music Producer and DJ Hardwell will be performing a remix from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. In the video below he names his choice as the Gerudo Valley theme, while even name-dropping the 3DS as his gaming system of choice while on the road touring.

It's not a surprising choice, in some respects, as it's a fast-paced theme that's ripe for a remix. Below you can listen to the original and also a rather popular Taylor Davis version.

We'll be live streaming and blogging The Game Awards on 3rd December at 6pm Pacific / 9pm Eastern, which is 2am UK / 3am CET on 4th December. Yes, your humble writer will be live blogging at 2am his local time, and rather looks forward to some joking and insanity in the live chat.
