Nintendo will be in attendance at the upcoming Gamescom event in Cologne, Germany from 21st to 25th August, and has been promising plenty of exciting releases as playable demos. We suspect there'll be some lengthy queues for that one, but there's lot more on offer and listed below.

Pokemon X and Y have 'Mega' forms of some older gen pokemon. MewTwo was the first of many new formes of older gen pokemon.

Good to see Mario 3D World on the list, was notably absent from yesterdays ND and I was worried about it not being released in 2013. A month would have been nice. I mean it has to be December right w/ Zelda and Donkey Kong in Oct and Nov?

Ild normally request X + Y demoes being released on the 3DS but really wants the point, I think most people are beyond being swayed either way by a Pokemon demo.

Pikmin 3
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Super Mario 3D World
Mario Kart 8

Those are the Wii U games I'd be most interested in playing, if I were there
