If you've been keeping your powder dry when it comes to purchasing digital games on your Wii U console, today's European Nintendo Download news should be music to your ears, as Ubisoft has reduced the price of all of its titles on the Wii U eShop.
It follows a similar sale which occurred in North America not so long ago.
ZombiU (€34.99, was €69.99 / £29.99, was £54.99), Assassin's Creed III (€29.99, was €69.99 / £29.99, was £54.99) and Just Dance 4 (€24.99, was €49.99 / £19.99, was £39.99) are among the seven games that Ubisoft has cut. Check out our typically exhaustive European Nintendo Download report for the full list.
Little Inferno and Pokédex 3D Pro (the latter being for the 3DS) have also benefited from a price reduction. The lower prices come into effect on Thursday, and will remain in place until April 4th — with the exception of Little Inferno, which will revert back to its standard price on March 24th.

Just Dance 4 DLC is now more expensive than the game
Nope. Not for me.
Those are GREAT deals.
Awesome, I was planning on getting Just Dance 4 eventually, but now I'll be downloading this tonight!
About time, seriously these prices are good, the previous ones were just plain ridiculous. They are finally competing with retail prices!
Great, will be picking up Zombi U, the discounted e-shop price is less than pre-owned discs i've seen in Game; will have to wait till 11pm to d/l though, which is a bit annoying . Played a bit of Zombi U on my step-Cousin's Wii U already and thought it looked great.
My wife grabbed Just Dance 4 when this sale hit the NA eShop. It is a fun title. I recommend it.
Thinking of getting AC III, worth it?
Saw the article title and immediately considered picking up Assassins Creed 3 from the eShop. Down from £54.99 to £29.99? That's good as far as the eShop prices go.
Then discovered I could get the physical copy from ShopTo for just £21.85.
It's actually cheaper on there than the PS3 and 360 versions.
@Sjoerd Yeah, i think AC3 is ok for that price. Its a decent game.
Im picking up ZombiU. Its cheaper than any retail in Sweden.
Might go for Just Dance 4,if only to dance to Call Me Maybe in HD,
So now they're at the price where I'd buy them physically. Of course for me to go along with all the downsides of digital, they'd need to be 33% cheaper than that.
asassin creed and zombiU tonight lol
These prices should be made permanent imo as they are more in line with retail prices.
@Everly Now that you're saying that, I might as well pick up Just Dance 4. My younger cousin is a fan of the series, it would be great that she could dance here freely at my house since I have a Wii U and she doesn't — and her parents probably won't buy her one in years. Plus, with the GamePad, we could have some fun experiences.
@Everly For 25 €... I'll buy that Just Dance 4. Do you know how much it weights on the hard drive?
Afraid not too interested in any of those, do feel as though I should support these sales, might get AC3...
@DePapier It is a fun game. I like Move Like Jagger myself. I'm up to 4 stars on it, but my wife still kills me at it.
It is pretty heavy. 15GB. But I got a 1TB external connected so I'm ok.
@Everly So 15GB. OK, thanks!
Given nobody brought it up here yet, it's my turn to be a jerk, I guess.
Ubisoft would have saved themselves the trouble of cutting the prices by releasing a certain game when it was supposed to come out. Ironic how not selling something, in order to earn more money later rather than earning less early, ends up being even more of a financial loss.
(inb4 "how dare you reopen that wound! Ubisoft doesn't even have to do that in the first place, it's only a favor they're doing to us, you don't know anything about the industry!")
Good news. Don't know whether or not I'll get any though. I might look at AC3 but I really didn't like the first one.
Possibly AC3.
cornishlee, the first Assassin's Creed is pants. I've tried AC3 on WiiU at a mates, its massively better. And it has Off Screen play, which is always a plus in my book
