Hey, you got your MotionPlus in my WiiWare
Everyone with a playful heart has thrown their hands into light and tried to make a shadow figure on the wall at some point in their lives, but few stick around for more than a couple of tries, let alone ever consider paying for the opportunity. Deep Fried Entertainment asks both of players with ShadowPlay,...

ShadowPlay News
Nintendo Download 11 January 2010 (North America)
Courtroom drama, temporal shenanigans, shadow play, billiards and board games this week.
Well, it looks like the release schedule in North America is starting out as slow as everywhere else, although three WiiWare releases and a Virtual Console add is pretty impressive even if it is smaller than the release weeks in December. The DSi offerings are a...
News Shadows Come Out To Play Next Monday
Deep Fried Entertainment gives MotionPlus its first WiiWare appearance
MotionPlus hasn't seen a whole lot of support since it launched last summer; we can count on one disfigured hand how many games out actually use it. Even though the peripheral is supported in a few big names coming down the pipeline, those don't help you now. But Deep Fried...
About The Game
ShadowPlay challenges players by transforming shadows into 100 exciting, unique puzzles. By using the Wii Remote, players manipulate their given objects one by one to create a cumulative shadow that matches the goal.
As more challenging puzzles are unlocked, players will have to find more creative ways to solve problems. You will never look at a slice of pizza the same way again! Winning a round will allow players to advance to the next level as well as score another item to use in the FreePlay Mode where you can unleash your imagination and create your own shadow art. Try creating a bike out of a pineapple or a dolphin out of the shadow of a pear. Family and friends can also jump in to help tackle a puzzle at any time using Local Co-op Mode! ShadowPlay will provide tons of brain-racking fun for players of all ages!
What is even more awesome is that ShadowPlay is the first independent WiiWare game to take full advantage of the Wii MotionPlus™, which means you can experience full maneuverability of objects and have even more fun! Of course, the game still works with the Nunchuk™ controller and will provide loads of entertainment.
“ShadowPlay is a unique game introducing a new way to solve puzzles. Playing with shadows is present in almost every culture in the world, in some form or another, and I think this game taps into a really creative way to express ourselves. I particularly love the FreePlay mode!” says Brenda Bailey Gershkovitch, DFE’s C.O.O.

Hm, doesn't sound too bad. As long as puzzlers still offer something new, I'm in.
I'm torn from the screenshots between: that could be fun and that should be free. (Not fun for me, for my 5 and 7 year olds.) This looks like a bunch of games in Wii Play which were sort of fun for awhile but all of those games combined cost $10 (minus the $40 cost of the Wiimote which is the only reason anybody bought it). Maybe WiiWare needs a "Mini" section for 100 point games. (Yes I know the PSN minis are $5 but they should be a buck also.)
Or just bunch five "Mini" games together for $5.
Hi - I'm Brenda and work with Deep Fried, the developer of this title. I just wanted to weigh in on the debate over whether ShadowPlay is for kids 5-7 or if it is more challenging. I brought my kids into the studio, ages 13, 16 and 18 and the two older ones like the game and really got into it, but the younger one found it tough. There's a pretty good range of difficulty - some of the puzzles are downright tough! I bet your five year old would find a few - like the fish, that were right for him, but most are for an older player. Hope it helps!
That pie looks suspiciously like Pac-Man. But let's just call it a pie, to avoid some copyright infringements ; )
Thanks for the feedback Brenda.
Whenever I see the title, I always think of the Killers song, "Shadowplay".
"In the shadowplay, acting out your own death knowing no more
As the assassins all grouping in a line, dancing on the floor"...
Yeah, can't see how I keep getting the two mixed up.XD
Ooh, like the idea.
I also agree that the Playstation Minis should be a dollar. Heck, one of the launch games was a $1 iPhone game with no new content and a $5 price tag!
