Topic: Do you still count deleted games as part of your collection?

I don't. If I dislike a game enough to purge it even from SD card then I no more consider it part of my collection than a disc I've given to a charity shop or punted on Ebay. I also don't bother tracking games I no longer own in Backloggery and that includes deleted WiiWare/VC titles.

Just curious if other people keep games they don't like just because they have the license to own them or if they feel the same?

I don't delete games. No reason to. Even a game as awful as Niki I reserve a place for on the last page in case I ever want to torture someone. I've got probably less than 10% of my SD card full despite owning nearly 100 games, and none of my hard drive space is being used except for saves and non-game channels.

With the SD card add-on, I doubt I'll end up deleting any games. I don't know why, it just feels wrong. Even crap like Incoming.

I have no idea why I keep bad games. It's psychological, somehow. Maybe it makes the truly awesome games look even better when they're slotted next to pure trash.

EDIT: I wish I could trade you Incoming for Niki.

I have a lot of games from the Wii Shop and I do consider deleted games apart of my collection and will have a lot more soon as my Wii has been broken since July 6th (Hopefully getting fixed this week).

Nope. No need really. Even if I don't like a game too much or tire of it, I don't hate it enough to delete it. Besides, I can just demote it to a later page on the SD Menu. 8GB is a lot of room for WiiWare/VC.

I'll worry about that when I have a need to delete them.

I don't delete games either (no matter how much I may dislike them and even if I never play them anymore) thanks to the brilliant Card SD Menu.

I've only deleted one game, but to me it no longer exists in my collection. I don't talk about it, it's not on my Backloggery, and I doubt my family even knows I downloaded it. Such an awful game and I wish I could get those 800 points back.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

My SD card has still room, so no need to delete anything. And when it's full I buy a bigger SD card.
And I don't many bad games.

The idea to trade games is great.
For example, every year you can trade 3 of your games with someone from your Wii friends list.

Why do I want to bring back Pluto? Cuz the 8 others bullied it and I don't approve of bullying and I am here with this pointless movement to remind people of how (in)significant it really is!

I do, i can still download them for free so technically i still own them

@BB Thrilla: you can't technically trade games with people on the wii (like if you played a VC game, didn't like it, and want to trade your rights to it to someone else in return for their rights to a game they purchased in the Wii Shop), but you can purchase games as gifts for people you have friended via Wii and trade that way (like how Adam sent me a DS game in return for me gifting him a VC game).

As much as I dislike this one particular game in my collection, I still won't delete it. It serves as a constant reminder to me to not make impulse purchases. I'm looking at you Super Turrican!

Nope, it was this. I don't even want to speak it's name.

I also don't believe deleted games count as an addition to a collection. My example? Real Soccer 09 on DSiware.......

The only game I have ever gotten rid of was YuYu Hakusho: Spirit Detective for GBA.

I tried to play it. But I hated it. Awful game. I gave it away and I don't count it anymore. Good thing it wasn't MY money though. My aunt bought it for me. I don't even like the TV show.
