IDEAS 1. Get rid of Snake and MGS 2. Create "classic" and "modern" versions of all stages and tracks 3. Do not include the SSE in order to save room 4. Include all stages from SSB, Melee, and Brawl 5. Demote jigglypuff to pokeball status 6. Add Bomberman and Mega Man, with respective stages 7. Bring back Roy 8. Bring back Young Link as an alternate design for Toon Link 9. Bring back Adult Link as an alternate design for Link 10. Drop Lucario

I do not agree with these, although I am kind of on the fence about the Jigglypuff one.

So... release the same game, but with less content and a different title? Great idea!

You can't drop Jigglypuff! Not that I use him(?) or anything, it's just that Jiggly was a part of the original 12 characters from SSB and in my opinion those guys should never be removed as playable characters.

I say keep Snake. Add a few more characters to the already large roster . And add in some more single player elements with the addition of less laggy online play.
Snake was a ridiculous idea, since it pits an M character against an E character. It was simply for the money, since it was a major request from the MGS crew.
Jigglypuff is only good for getting knockouts.
Lucario might be able to stay, but Diamond and Pearl will be ten years old by then.
I figured they'd need to get rid of SSE to make room for new stages, characters, etc.
@Cheetahman: Geno only appeared in Super Mario RPG. He's not going to get in. Also, Bonk is a TG16 character, and Nintendo's only just now experimenting with other systems.

well i gotta say... i disagree with almost all of your ideas. why would they delete the full adventure mode just to make extra room to wasted on bringing back stages weve already played before. snake was a good idea and added balance to the game since it wasnt all just guys using swords. why would they take out jigglypuff? why would they take out a character that has completely original moves over wolf is just a 3rd version of fox? and roy is marth with red hair

More than 100 characters. The lack of Brawl characters was disappointing...
...the most characters ever in a game is 63, its gonna be a while before triple digits. i dont think i could memorize the moves for a hundred guys anyway

I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
I hope you know Solid Snake is going to sneak into your base and kill all of your dudes. >: (

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
Brawl wasn't perfect, but I really don't see how much they can add to make a sequel worthwhile without just being over the top or too complicated. All you can really do at this point is add more characters and stages, and they've already covered so much ground that they've had to resort to non-Nintendo characters (which were great additions, but we too many more and it would hardly be a Nintendo game). Brawl seems like a good stopping point.
I'd be more interested to see Nintendo try a one on one fighter. Joy Mecha Fight Wii would make me cry (man tears, which is a mixture of testosterone and whiskey), but if not that, just taking that same approach to simple, whimsical one-on-one fighting but with more recognizable characters would be nice.
