I'm happy its a Wii game. I enjoyed New Play Control Pikmin (which is my only experience with the game) and I felt like there was still a lot they could do with that concept.

I didn't buy the Pikmin wiimake because the Gamecube version was enough for me, but I missed Pikmin 2 for the GC so I'd be on-board for the Wiimake-Play-Control of that game.
Currently Playing:
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon
MLB 11 The Show
Hitman: Absolution
lol... I wouldn't mind wii hd getting the pikmin 3 installment, maybe even as a launch title.
Imagine those beautiful places, brilliant levels, gameplay, vast worlds and utter cute awesomeness in glorious, masterful, upgraded presentation on your screen...
I just got done with some Pikmin 2 battles with my friend. Fun stuff. I hope they really expand upon the 2 player foundation set in Pikmin 2.
Maybe however there is another option. Metroid Prime 2 had multi-player and look how they expanded it in Metroid Prime 3. Whoops!
Yeah, but 2 player modes including co-op are necessary in a Pikmin game whereas they are out of place in a Metroid game. No multiplayer in Pikmin 3 is a no buy for me.
In the game, 30 days pass until Olimar runs out of time on the Pikmin planet. If I remember correctly, a Pikmin day lasts like 10-15 minutes. The game is finish-able in under 30 in-game days as there are 30 ship parts to collect and they can all be obtained under 30 days. Real time the game will probably only last you 5 or 6 hours but they are some very enjoyable hours. After you're done with NPC Pikmin 1 I highly recommend Pikmin 2 on Gamecube. It lasts WAY longer than the first because you have as many days as you want and there are 201 treasures to find. Both are totally excellent and you absolutely owe it to yourself to experience them!
Yep, that's a damn shame that NPC Pikmin 2 ain't in NA. I'll never forgive Nintendo for that one. I got tired of waiting and just played it on the Cube and haven't looked back! It's very very expensive used but you will not regret tracking down a copy.
I expect this game to be revealed at the next E3 as their big game. But then again, Nintendo could hold onto it and save it for the launch of the next system, but I doubt it. It's been a Wii game for some time now.
