It's cheesy, it's (obviously) biased, it's all just advertising, and it rarely offers any new information. And those kids get way too excited about Nintendo. BUT I LOVE IT. HAHA.

I think it does a good job of appealing to both gamers that know Nintendo and non-gamers. And it does have some clever, friendly humor. I just get the feeling that most gamers would be really turned off by it... and for good reason. It's a guilty pleasure.

Ultimate Wii Challenge = Ew.
I can't take it seriously.

I have to send NW an Email. I think the show is getting more serious and less cheesy. Last year when they introduced the black Wii Remote they had an epic confrontation with Dark Gary. This year when they revealed the Red Wii all they did was carefully open the box (lame!). They've been cutting out their themed episodes too (like skimping on Halloween). I think someone might like this new direction for the show--but Nintendo Week is a 10 minute commercial, it doesn't have to give me much it just has to be entertaining.

I know

They did the same thing with Super Metroid,
Make me sick, to see how they were playing it....

For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.

They taught me stuff I didn't know about DKC. Btw what do you guys think of Ultimate Wii Challenge?

Everyone involved secretly hates Nintendo. That's the only explanation for its existence.

It pretty cheesy but its ok in small doses

my beef is they focus to much nintendo and sholveware 3rd parties.

like Naruto ragon blade. honestly who going to buy that lame hack and slash when Naruto ultimate ninja storm 2 is out.

some other stuff the neglect good game like T.V.C not acknowledging their existence till late febuary.

The past few times they've been looking at some cool games.

Did they do an episode on MHTri?
If so, please find it for me

Looking forward to The Conduit 2 and CoD: Black Ops for DS

The Valentines Day episode was a real let down. Gary and Alison declared on the air that they were "just friends". Looks like they're going to keep dragging out this arms length romance until the next Nintendo Sweeps Week. If they can last that long... Mario Sports Mix has been creating so much tension on the show--it can't be long before that manifests into an on screen kiss.

@NintendoCoDGamer Monster Hunter Tri is the only game Nintendo Week has ever tried to push harder than Wii Fit Plus, and it's easy to find. Just start up Nintendo Channel and it's in Nintendo Week Vol. 2. There's an episode marked Monster Hunter Tri event, I think the 2 or 3 unmarked episodes before it also talk about MHTri.

Dark Gary! Who dwells in a seemingly hammerspace-esque roof tent.

I dig that new Phaea chick. Rowr!

When Alyson smiles, I smile... She is SO beautiful... And I do find their 'jokes' funny. Probably because some times it's so stupid, you have to laugh. But I guess it's done on purpose. I really liked that 'kiddy' episode with those kids voices "yay!" were heard.

Yeah, I've also noticed the latest episodes weren't as entertaining as their earlier stuff. What happened to the goofy adventures and stuff?

I watch it on occasion to admire the lovely vision that is Alison Whitney. So sexy (and not in the naked video game hardware sense of sexy LOL). And, yes, I like her enough that I took the time to find out her last name! A beautiful woman who (apparently) loves to play video games. Dream come true for a man like me who doesn't want a girlfriend who teases me/beats me up/dumps me for spending too much time on games!

Let's attack aggressively, kupo! :D

Yeah, but I wonder how much Gary and Alison really play video games--I think they're just actors who are coached well before each show. And yet they seem genuine enough to not be faking it.

i actually look forward to watching the show and I'm not ashamed of it one bit
