I watch it on occasion to admire the lovely vision that is Alison Whitney. So sexy (and not in the naked video game hardware sense of sexy LOL). And, yes, I like her enough that I took the time to find out her last name! A beautiful woman who (apparently) loves to play video games. Dream come true for a man like me who doesn't want a girlfriend who teases me/beats me up/dumps me for spending too much time on games!
She looks even better this week with her hair straightened.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

@Splat Yeah, it's all about the 3DS now. But what else could Gary and Alison possibly cover? The only game coming out for the Wii anytime soon is WWE All Stars, and that will probably turn out to be another cruddy PS2 port with tacked on motion controls. We didn't even get one new game for the VC or WiiWare this week.

It's a funny show, but it has been running out of steam lately. I like it when they turn the Cheese Factor up to 11, but lately it's been pretty low. Kind of boring. It also hasn't been streaming well recently. I watch Netflix all the time on my Wii and it works perfectly, but the Nintendo Channel videos have been streaming poorly. Why is it that a 3rd Party can optimize their streaming on the Wii better than Nintendo?
Moco Loco If you find yourself spiritually drifting (as I was for far too many years), remember that Jesus can and will walk across the water to reach you and bring you back to shore.
Oh my gosh! Alison won't be on Nintendo Week anymore!!
That's sad to hear. But I stopped watching the show long ago because it streams so poorly. As someone else said above, Netflix works great but video streaming on the Nintendo Channel is just terrible. Nintendo is going to have to drastically improve their server bandwidth before releasing the Wii U otherwise it's going to be an embarrassing laughing stock.
Sometimes is streams badly but sometimes it streams perfectly to me. Could be it depends on the time of day, but when it does, I watch all the videos and it's wonderful. It's not that different from a regular PC, internet and trying to watch youtube episodes. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Nothing to do with Nintendo bandwidth, it's just fine.
Not only does the 3DS come with an SD card, but it also happens to come pre-installed with one, additional dimension.
I've watched every episode, as far as I know, and would have to agree that it has gone down hill. Personally I think it started some time after D.I.Y. was featured, when they stopped featuring crazy guests like Wizard, Zeus, and Zombie. I still go back and re-watch the first season occasionally, though the streaming keeps it from being as great as it could be. It's pretty sad that Alison won't be coming back anymore, as I can't really see anyone else being a good counterpart to Gary, and a Gary/Dark Gary show wouldn't be as entertaining.
BTW, am I the only one who would be interested in the first one or two seasons of this show being released as DVD's on Club Nintendo?
I am the TrueWiiMaster! Those who call the Wii casual BEWARE!
I love Nintendo Week even though its cheesy, Ive been noticing though that its gone from weekly to every other week. I miss weekly and I'll miss Alison.

I watch and enjoy every episode, but let's face it: There's nothing to discuss on a weekly basis any more. It's pretty much tips for Skyward Sword, Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 every week. I get the feeling that every ounce of every Nintendo employee's effort is being dedicated to Wii U.
I've been trying to watch the latest episode and it streams for about a minute and then starts stuttering and eventually stops entirely (with the little spinning thing in the upper left corner still spinning). After a minute or so it puts up an error and gives me a button to click which throws me back out to the Wii menu.
It is not our wireless. I can stream Netflix on this Wii for hours without a single glitch. But I do wonder if perhaps our ISP (Comcast) is deliberately choking the bandwidth to try to extort money from Nintendo. Anyone else out there have Comcast? Can you watch Nintendo Week without terrible streaming problems?
We can download large files from companies with fast servers at 2 MBytes/second (sustained) and stream HD content from Netflix and iTunes (on an AppleTV). So we've got good bandwidth for most things. But we've got terrible bandwidth for Nintendo Week. It's really sad.
