Topic: Your top 5 E3 Nintendo Wishes

So, Nintendo obviously has a lot of franchises it hasn't put on the Wii U yet. Star Fox was a GREAT surprise, and I feel there will be atleast 1, maybe 2, at this year's E3. What game franchises are you hoping Nintendo will create another entry in? Here are some choices:

2D Metroid . Metroid Prime . Punch-Out!! . F-Zero . Mario Golf . Mario Baseball . Mario Tennis . Mario Soccer Earthbound . 3D Donkey Kong . Fire Emblem (assuming SMTxFE Is cancelled....) . Golden Sun for Wii U!! . 3D Wario .(Platformer/Adventure) . Pokémon RPG . Pokken Fighters U . Different kind of Pokémon game . Quest 64-2!! (jk haha)
Excite Series (Bike / Truck / etc.) . New Amiibo Game Franchise . 1080 Snowboarding . Wave Race

There are some options, with there obviously being a ton more, since this is Nintendo we are talking about. I think by the time the Wii U's life ends, there'll be a good amount of these created. My top 5 I would like to see for this E3, however, are:

1) Mario RPG 2 - Not Paper Mario! And not Mario & Luigi series, but an actual sequel for the SNES Super Mario RPG 2. This is very unlikely because, ya know.. SquareSoftEnixSqueenix and all, but, I hold out hope. If not, getting a Mario & Luigi RPG on home console would be cool, too.

2) Metroid Prime - A darker, gritty prime would be so awesome for Wii U. Just KEEP doing what they've been doing with the first 3, but this time in glorious HD.

3) Golden Sun for Wii U- Great RPG series, so why hold out on the home console market?? I'd LOVE to play these in 3d HD at home.

4) Punch - Out!!! These games don't hold a ton of replay value for me, but they're a ton of fun to go through with a friend for a weekend, just kicking back and having a few beers and figuring out the fighters' patterns together.

5) 1080 Snowboarding- These games were very underrated and super fun. Plus it's exactly what the Wii U is lacking.

What games do you hope to see?

I could go for another 1080 Snowboarding or Wave Race as well.

1. New Metroid FPS/Adventure with some sort of multiplayer. Coop would be fantastic.
2. Better online experience, which would need a completely new OS for the wiiu. The OS needs to be quicker and more seemless.
3. More Mariokart DLC
4. Platinum Games is now 1st party
5. ZombiU 2

Good games. Franchise is secondary.

Well Nintendo said there's be more animal crossing series news this year, so AC for Wii U is probably being announced. The return of Metroid would be great too.

Honestly, not much. 2015 already looks great. I wouldn't mind seeing a card game coming to Wii U, maybe Pokemon TCG Online.

That would be an awesome fall lineup.

1. Return of the Treehouse streams, those 8 hour streams were really good! (I watched all of them all the way through live)
2. Smash isn't the main focus (I hope for Miiverse/Mewtwo/Tournaments to be a fair few months beforehand so they can focus on other stuff)
3. Mario Kart 8 DLC pack 2 gives insight into some E3 surprises (e.g. Maybe an Animal Crossing Wii U game announced at E3)
4. N64/GCN/DS for Wii U VC
5. Nintendo's reveals are after Sony and Microsoft like last year (worked brilliantly)

@Grumblevolcano Pretty sure Nintendo has always gone after Sony and Microsoft. Also VC stuff I feel is better left for some other time. E3 should be about new games (previously announced or not).

For me, I think we'll see Animal Crossing U and a new 3D Mario announced (either Galaxy 3 or a true Galaxy successor). 2D Metroid is better left for the 3DS.

If Metroid would come back. Dark and gritty isn't what it needs. It needs to be bigger, have more exploration ideas, a ton of lore about the Chozo and their events, all while playing a nice FPS that doesn't include some stupid female protagonist who's touchy feel'y. Other M, tut tut tut.
And Mother in 3D. or Earthbound remakes in 3D.
If Fire Emblem was going to be a thing this year. It would be pretty cool if a Awakening game was made again but for the Radiant era.
Everything else that everyone else is saying I can totally agree.

1. Wii Party U sequel with online play
2. ReUmagined - even out the release schedule with remakes of GC and N64 games (Mario 64, F-Zero etc)
3. Nintendo Universe (like Smash Bros, but adventure/platform/action instead of fighting.)
4. Wario World 2
5. Minecraft is confirmed for Wii U

Good call on Animal Crossing! Completely slipped my mind! That would DEFINITELY crack my top 5, so it'd probably push 1080 out. Animal Crossing is a game I can spend HUNDREDS of hours on, which, at 31 years old, probably isn't a good thing, but I don't care because I love it!

I REALLY wanted to include a 3d Mario, be it Galaxy3 or a new one, but a recent article on NL about Miyamoto hinting about being like Disney and having Mario lead the next generation, or SOMETHING along those lines that hinted at there maybe not be another 3d entry on Wii U, made me refrain from including it. But any type of collect-a-thon Mario game in the vein of Mario 64, Sunshine, or the Galaxies (and NOT 3d World) would probably be #1 on my list. I DO still hold out hope, altho I feel that most of the team being involved in Captain Toad might have prevented them from being able to work on a new 3D Mario entry.

I was meaning that basically that at the very latest, E3 should be when they implement a new console into the VC library (even Genesis/Dreamcast would do). As for Mario, I sure you're meaning as in 2016 release but if you weren't then here's confirmation of no main Mario game in 2015 (I guess there goes any hopes of Sunshine HD).

A game similar to SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters Clash but with mostly Nintendo and invited characters that is played with phisical cards through NFC. The game would come with a pack of cards and the amiibos can be used in place of cards.

1. Wario Land 6. Or just a new Wario platformer in general, it's been forever since one of those.

2. New Metroid game, ideally for the Wii u. Not a new Metroid Prime or Metroid Other M style game either, but something a bit different.

3. 3D Mario game with collectathon style gameplay. If that fails, a really nice Mario 64 or Sunshine remake would do as a stop gap.

4. Paper Mario for Wii U. In Thousand Year Door style.

5. Luigi's Mansion 3. With both the portrait ghosts from the original and possessors from the sequel as bosses and an expanded ScareScraper mode that lets you play in the actual story mode mansions instead of just a skyscraper type tower.
