I probably won't get it since I have Wind Waker but it looks gorgeous. I strongly approve of Nintendo using the Wii U to get away from graphical stereotypes of modern gaming.
Well if it was discounted as an eShop exclusive, I would rather have that, since they wouldn't have to pay more fees to get a disc out. I wonder if the box art will have a different toon Link artstyle, or if they're keeping the one we already know. I think it would make sense to design everything new to accommodate for a new gen complete remake game. PS rereleases PS2 as HD games, but they only update it to HD features, not actually remaking the whole game.

I hope it's available at retail, I don't particularly trust digital downloads for games at all, I like owning games as property not this 'license' crap. And it's the one chance in hell I have of getting 3DS StreetPasses round here.

I'm with you. I don't buy games digitally unless there is no physical release. That's why I'm really hoping this will be available at retail.

I can't wait for this one! I've never played the gamecube version. So I hope I get this! I can't wait to play this with the gamepad abilities and HD visuals! This is the game I am most highly anticipating for the Wii U!

KK I don't think it was even close. OOT sold a ton while Wind Waker did alright but not nearly as well!

Quick look at Wiki says 4.6 for Wind Waker and 7.6 for OOT. Makes sense.

According to Wikipedia, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time sold 7.6 million copies, and The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker 4.5 or so million copies.
The 3DS one sold well, but far less than the Nintendo 64 version, and I suspect the same will occur to this HD remake of The Wind Waker.
