I'm looking forward to this. I think it will be $30-40, and maybe an eShop exclusive? I think Nintendo will discount this game if it's eShop only... The graphics are alot more colorful, and I'm sure it's at least 2 times better presentation wise. Day 1 for me.

Looks great and although I haven't kept the Zelda games I bought on Wii (the only ones I've ever played), I did enjoy them and play through them to conclusion so I'll give this a whirl too.

The announcement about the all new one sounded great with the break from linearity and hints at multiplayer questing.

No way Nintendo's not putting this out on retail. It's still the best option to make the most money and exposure. I also think the price will be 40$ or more as it looks like a lot of work will go into this. After all OOT 3ds was not a bargin price.

I probably won't get it since I have Wind Waker but it looks gorgeous. I strongly approve of Nintendo using the Wii U to get away from graphical stereotypes of modern gaming.

If they finish the game this time and remove the collecting rupees/map translation slog from the original I will definitely get this.

Well if it was discounted as an eShop exclusive, I would rather have that, since they wouldn't have to pay more fees to get a disc out. I wonder if the box art will have a different toon Link artstyle, or if they're keeping the one we already know. I think it would make sense to design everything new to accommodate for a new gen complete remake game. PS rereleases PS2 as HD games, but they only update it to HD features, not actually remaking the whole game.

I hope it's available at retail, I don't particularly trust digital downloads for games at all, I like owning games as property not this 'license' crap. And it's the one chance in hell I have of getting 3DS StreetPasses round here.

I'm with you. I don't buy games digitally unless there is no physical release. That's why I'm really hoping this will be available at retail.

There is no reason why it shouldn't come to retail. It will be a main console game it seems.

I can't wait for this one! I've never played the gamecube version. So I hope I get this! I can't wait to play this with the gamepad abilities and HD visuals! This is the game I am most highly anticipating for the Wii U!

OoT3D was retail, so there's no reason this shouldn't be. This has more effort put into it than OoT3D.

I'm gonna have so much fun making fun of OOT fanboys when Wind Waker HD sells more than it (does anyone know how much the original versions of those games sold btw?)

KK I don't think it was even close. OOT sold a ton while Wind Waker did alright but not nearly as well!

Quick look at Wiki says 4.6 for Wind Waker and 7.6 for OOT. Makes sense.

Edit: Obviously I mean million after those numbers.

Better yet just looked it up. OOT 7.6 million worldwide and WW was 4.6. OOT 3ds was another 2.67 million

Watch it be priced at $50. OOT was sold at full price, so why shouldn't this game be?

According to Wikipedia, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time sold 7.6 million copies, and The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker 4.5 or so million copies.

The 3DS one sold well, but far less than the Nintendo 64 version, and I suspect the same will occur to this HD remake of The Wind Waker.

The thing with the 3ds version is its still selling to this day and who knows if that counts the eshop which I doubt!
