Topic: Wii U: The Perfect System For MMOs?

I really can't think of a better system to play an MMO on. The gamepad would be absolutely perfect for all of that clutter usually at the bottom of the computer or TV screen. What are your thoughts on this and how do you think games like World of Warcraft could benefit from the Wii U system?

I don't play MMO's, but I've always thought a Pokémon mmo would be just what the series needed. And what better system for a Pokémon mmo than Wii U?

@WhiteKnight
So you would rather play MMOs or RPGs in general with all that inconviently piled at the bottom of your screen?? ok...

PC's say hello.

And along with that you have the 40 bajillion spells and attacks that take up a 1/6 of your screen.

lol. PC's are still better for a variety of reasons. But as far as consoles go, I think the Wii U would be the best system for an mmo.

Oh, right. I didn't even think about the ipad. I was just thinking about xbox, playstation and wii u. So, yeah. There's a list and Wii U's not on top.

Good point, let me rephrase. "I can't think of a better "home console" to play MMO's or RPGs on than the Wii U"
But that goes for like any game. PC's are the best to play any game on, they have the best graphics and you can always buy a usb controller of a 360 or PS3 to play on it convienently

Wii U don't do multi touch. Going to be important for MMO. iPad FTW.

Well PC's don't even do "Single Touch" so yeah. And Who would want to play an MMO or and serious game on a tablet?

Ok. Serious time. If you're playing an MMO with a controller, you're doing it wrong. Get into WoW and the other good MMOs enough and you'll be wanting a mouse with as many buttons as the typical controller by itself.

There is no way any console (or iPad), could possibly run any but the simplest of MMOs, without keyboard/ mouse add ons etc.

The touchpad on my laptop is multi-touch.

When you've got a keyboard and mouse you have more enough inputs that you don't need a touch screen.

Also, Baldur's Gate is on the iPad. Not the Wii U, not the PS3, not the 3DS, not the Vita. It's more of a "serious game" than almost anything I've played in the past couple of years on any console.
