As the Wii U launch approaches, Nintendo has been slowly rolling out information to keep the Hype Train moving. Recently, they showed off the 23 Launch Titles that North America will get on November 18th. Sadly, I have a limited budget that will only allow me to get one game at launch and with such a great variety of games, I don't know what game I want to get. I have narrowed it down to
Assassin's Creed III,
Batman Arkham City Armored Edition,
Zombi U,
Call of Duty Black Ops 2,
and New Super Mario Bros U.
Which launch title do you think I should get? I will actually take your comments into account when I go to pick up my Wii U.

I vote ZombiU.
It seems to be the most interesting and innovative Wii U title coming out that we know of and looks to be a really good experience.

Personally, I'm getting NSMBU and ACIII.
ACIII seems the most interesting of the 3rd party titles, and NSMBU because Nintendo .
Zombie games just aren't my thing, and I've seen (albeit a limited amount) mixed reviews about the Zombie U demos that have been played.

New Super Mario Bros. U for sure.

Maybe ZombiU as well, depending on reviews.

I say get NSMBU. That's what I'll be getting, anyway.

It's a Mario platformer, so you know you'll get it eventually and there's no way there will ever be a price drop any time soon.

Out of all the games, I think this one looks best.
I love NSMB.W, I was actually playing it yesterday with 5 friends, we kept switching out people if they have been playing for too long.
NSMB.U looks better then NSMB.W and I can't wait to play it with my friends, we already beat NSMB.W like three times..
I am excited for the new levels, new features, five people playing and HD.

Out of your list, I would get ZombiU. If you want to play with your wife, 4 girlfriends, imaginary friend, or whoever else than go for NSMBU.

I would say Pikmin 3, but of course it (very sadly) isn't a launch title. So I'll suggest the next best thing, NSMBU.

if you don't have either of the competition's consoles, I immediately suggest AC3. It will probably be the 3rd best game this year at worst (the other games I'm thinking of being Xenoblade and Little Inferno, and even then I'm assuming Little Inferno will be on the same level as World of Goo).

I'm assuming you don't have a 360 or PS3 because you would already have decided AC3 is the best option and would probably already have Arkham City. Probably.

@kyuubikid213 Depends on what you want, if you're going to be playing alone, ZombiU being a survival horror would probably be nice, Assassin's Creed 3 will probably be a great game too if you favor action to survival horror, if you will be having friends come over often or have family play with you often, I would get New Super Mario Bros.U or Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, depending on what you think you would enjoy more.

@kkslider5552000 You are absolutely right. Actually, my brother has a 360 and he already owns Arkham City, but since I'm on the brink of going to college/moving out, I want my own copy of the game. Pretty much the same for Assassin's Creed, except he doesn't have a job so he isn't getting it any time soon.

@Ryno I'm not married yet... Just a senior in High School.

So far, from the replies that have been 100% sure, it looks like I'm getting New Super Mario Bros. U. Zombi U is in second and Assassin's Creed takes third with one vote. I expected as much, but I'll keep checking back on this thread until November when I make my final decision. I wonder why there's no love for Call of Duty though.

For future reference
1. I will be mainly playing alone since it doesn't seem as though the original WiiRemotes are incompatible with Wii U games and two GamePads is waaaay out of budget.
2. I do not own a PS3 or 360 and buying one to get ACIII, CoD:BO2, or Arkham City seems pointless to me.
3. I have played some previous games in every option (except Batman and ZombiU, of course) and I do like all of them.

i say ZombiU its the sole game il be getting at release and the reason i pre-ordered a wii u

but yeah i also need some help on deciding what game to get ...but before that i already played the assassins creed games and just got the new one for another console same with the batman games so those are out

i was thinking either NSMBU or zombie U since i found out wonderful 101 isnt a released date game nor pikming 3 any ideas or a link to a list of the released date games?
