I don't think that's the only sign. You can think of Monoliths re-tweets as another. Nintendo supports the game. It even got its own puzzle in Mii plaza.
@Squid I get that too. Way more attractive than Marth, at least in the 2d illustrations. His japanese voice actor had a cool voice too.

Problem with that is that Robin has a couple dozen potential sons/daughters... and one of them is Lucina.

Oh, yeah, that's right! If you're playing with male Robin then you summon your daughter and if you're playing female Robin, you summon your son (Morgan)! It makes so much sense!
