We all hope that a new Smash Bros. game will come to the new system, but what does it need?
More awesome characters? BETTER ONLINE? More extras? A better story mode?
Leave it all here!

more characters, more levely and a prequal to the subspace emissary would be fine, don't mind with online multiplayer, It is more of an offline multiplayer game

Essentially what you said, Sylver.
I'll be more specific about a better story mode, though. I believe it needs to be like Melee's Adventure Mode in that you should fight actual Nintendo enemies from each franchise, only with a compelling story like the Subspace Emissary. The SSE was awesome, but it feels like playing a pseudo-Kingdom Hearts with all the weird enemies.
There needs to be a better online too, and they shouldn't rush it like they did with Brawl's. When you rush something, it never turns out to be what you wanted. That's why they need to be more careful if they do make a Smash Bros. 4.
I'm also more realistic when it comes to third-party characters. If there was any more than three, it'd feel more like a Smash Bros. for gaming in general and not just Nintendo gaming. If they could add one more, though, I would prefer Mega Man.
Since Brawl was almost exploding with extras, I would have a hard time imagining how many more there would be if there were tons of new characters. For each one, you have to get the trophie and extras exclusive to one. However, I would still love to collect more trophies and stickers. Oh, and they should make some amazing remixes of classic Nintendo songs like in Brawl, and a few classic stages from Brawl just like how Brawl had Melee stages and Melee had Smash Bros. N64 ones.

Most wanted Smash Bros. newcomers
1. King K. Rool
4. Kat & Ana
Little Mac was on the list, but he's been confirmed.

Better online of course. Better stages. Better balance of characters. Too many more characters will just disrupt the balance worse than it is (though obviously they need to add Flint [and of course they won't]). No Subspace / Adventure mode. A free copy for me.
Come on, friends,
To the bear arcades again.

I was completely satisfied with SSB, Melee and Brawl. I especially liked how the gameplay felt slightly different in all three titles (eg. Melee's action was faster than Brawl), so I hope they'll continue that trend. It keeps it fresh.

I hope that the amount of the next super smash bros threads are kept to a minimum.

I want three things:
Better onlineSpeaks for itself.
Balanced, unique charactersEven everything out, and don't add any clones.
DLCI don't have a problem paying for new stages, characters, etc. as long as they're being developed after the game's initial release. Smash Bros would really benefit from new content, even if it's just a little every once in a while.

I hope you could post custom-stages online, and save them from another Wii U! That would open up another world for SSB!

All they need to do is majorly improve the Online and add Mega Man as a playable character, and I'd be cool with it.

I'd love another emissary-style story mode. That was my favorite mode in the game! They need to fix the online too

i fail to see how having more characters screws up the balance. I WANT MORE CHARACTERS! i want so many i have to puke!
All the children try to run,
To him its part of the fun.
His branching arms are for collecting,
His face is empty of expressing.
He sometimes hums a lowly drone,
He will wander 'round your home.
Dressed in darkest suit and tie,
He won't let you say goodbye.
