Solution to Wii U's problems: go back in time and never bundle the Gamepad with the console. Unfortunately, it may be too late now.
I will never understand this way of thinking. The game pad is great. I think it would be utilized even better if they chose to have a few less titles without out off t.v. play. It's hard to be innovative if you are forced to create a structure that limits what you can do with the device in the first place.
