Shadow of the Eternals. Why not? It's a spiritual successor to Eternal Darkness, a franchise owned by Nintendo. Rebrand it into Eternal Darkness 2 with funding and publishing and call it a day.
Ni-Oh or Cry-On could be interesting. Anyone think Nintendo and Capcom are collaborating on a Mega Man game of some sort? The reaction to his inclusion in Smash Bros has been tremendous, proving he is still relevant. Who knows, maybe that's Sakurai's next project after Smash Bros.
I wouldn't be surprised if that's an idea at least.
There are some good guesses here. @MrV4ltor
I forgot all about Winter. But it can't be that. That was never a multiplatform game.
@IceClimber
Nice. Honestly I don't now why Nintendo haven't just invested in some form of HD remake for ED to test the waters. If a sequel is too daring for them to. But that makes a lot of sense. If Nintendo is willing to publish Shadow.
@IceClimbers
That's a good guess too. Nintendo continues to renew their trademark on Eternal Darkness every few years, so they must at least have some sort of interest in it.
The people guessing Cry On don't notice how ironic it would be if Nintendo picked that up. Cry on is exactly what I would say to the salty fanboys who lose the game.
Going to say Suikoden 6 as I live in make believe land.
If only...about as possible to happen as one of those games being a classic remake of Shining Force.
If it's Shining Force 3, that would be hilarious (I refuse to explain why, but if you've paid attention to gaming controversy in the past couple of years, you should know).
Hasn't been much of these two for a long time. But mainly just wishfull thinking, I agree with previous comments that its probably some Japanese stuff. Whatever it is, hopefully the rumour is true. I am intrigued by Devils Third and paying for exclusives would appear to be a very good option for Nintendo to follow.
And seeing as Capcom has said they arn't going to do it, Nintendo should get Monster Hunter 4 developed for the 'U
I saw a bit of the last game, I don't think we want any of that.
I assume it was pretty bad, think I read it somewhere at the time. Never played it though. Think the last one I played was Allied Assault on the old Xbox.
Shadow of the Eternals would be right up Nintendo's alley. It's the spiritual successor to Eternal Darkness and was being planned for PC, Wii U, and potentially other systems, but due to getting literally no funding, the game hasn't been mentioned in civilized conversation for quite some time. Nintendo may have picked up the game, footed the surprisingly small bill, and are now hoping that Eternal Darkness fans come running. Whether they changed the name to Eternal Darkness 2 or they're leaving it alone is anyone's guess. Whether they're forcing a full releasing or experimenting with the episodic model is also anyone's guess.

Hey, it's possible.
The problem is would Ninty or anyone else want to deal with Denis Dyack.

1) I still don't really get the problem people have with the guy. I was in the Precursor forums and he seemed nice and level-headed enough.
2) Nintendo dealt with him for Eternal Darkness, and I've heard nothing implying that either one rubbed the other the wrong way.
