I am against this game and everything it stands for. Wii U Sports would've been less of a cash-in.

Nintendoland needs to be a pack-in game. It makes too much sense not to. It isn't even like the Mario game looks like it needed the extra HD costs, so they'll get a ton of profit from that anyway.

I hope Reggie allows the game to be a pack-in. I'm also curious to know if it'll be online-enabled (online multiplayer) especially how it's fully integrating Miiverse.

@Mickey

C'mon, just be open to it and give it a shot if you ever have the chance to. Don't be a clam and close yourself out of potentially neat experiences. It's a break from your JRPG runs.

EDIT: After seeing all the icons, I see Balloon Fight, Game&Watch's Octopus, Metroid and Yoshi :)

This kind of ruined the Press Conference to me... They spent so much time on this rather than spending time on things gamers actually cared about. Where is the love Nintendo? Where? :(

Seeing all your reactions to everything Nintendo's announced, I feel the need to inquire about what exactly you enjoy when it come to games.

Also: HAHAHAHAHA. Wii Sports? You're kidding. You better be. This game actually looks like it could be enjoyable, yet you just shove it off as a cash-in UNDER WII SPORTS.

Did anyone actually play Wii Sports? Or was I just the only one given that uninteresting unvaried tech demo?

Well, I needn't have wasted my time with that round table.

The video game media only ever asked questions about Nintendo Land and the NSMB games. :|

Quite the opposite really, I'm glad Nintendo's actually taking a slightly different approach on showing off what the Wii U can do rather than add some tweaks to Wii Sports and call it new. That would be a cash in. This is entirely new and original, and it looks fun to me. They just didn't present it that well.

I'm kind of indifferent to this. It looks like a nice little mini-game collection for the casuals that I could enjoy for a while before growing bored (for one, because I'm pretty anti-social and won't be having people over to play it with). That is if it's a pack-in game. Otherwise, I can't see myself buying it. I hope Nintendo returns to its roots and makes NSMBU the pack-in, but this NintendoLand looks like it's going to be used as bait for casuals (think they'd do better using NSMBU to lure Hardcores, but...).

Also, after that bust of a developer's roundtable, looks like the 3DS announcements tomorrow is our last hope for seeing Zelda, Metroid, TRUE F-Zero, Star Fox, Kirby, et cetera. I can't believe there's not been a peep about anything Zelda. Hope they're not taking a step back from it, after Skyward Sword didn't set the sales charts on fire.

So I thought Nintendo was trying to recapture the hardcore market?

Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

I don't know, I wasn't too excited for this game, initially, but now I'm pretty pumped after considering how much fun my cousins and I will have while playing it. I'm certain it's going to be a quality title, especially for those of us who will have fun people to play it with. I really hope it's bundled with the system, though. I'll be starting off college next year and if I decide to pick up the system (the only thing holding me back is how it'll affect my studies =P), I'm pretty positive I'll only be purchasing one title. And Pikmin 3 is definitely at the top of that list.

If we talk and have fun here on NL, feel free to add me!! (Just let me know so I can accept)

I thought so too, which is why I am so confused and disappointed.

Surely this'll come with the system, right?
I'm not very excited for it, but that's mainly because it seems to be very multiplayer focused which means I won't be able to get much out of it as I mostly just play single player.
Still much more interesting than Wii U Sports though, and I'm sure I'll get at least some fun out of it.
I don't think I'll buy it if it's not bundled with the system though.

Go Nintendo.

There is something I feel is very important to say about Nintendo Land. I know a lot of you guys and gals were a bit underwhelmed with the E3 presentation for this game. It seemed like the explanation of how it worked and what it was went on a bit to long and was a bit too detailed. Unfortunately, I think that display killed off a lot of interest that this game deserves to have.

I absolutely promise you that seeing Nintendo Land via video feed and playing it are two completely different experiences. Nintendo Land is, without a doubt, a game that you need to go hands-on with to understand. When I was watching the Luigi's Ghost Mansion portion of Nintendo's press conference, I felt the game looked a little boring and underwhelming. The over-complicated explanation of the gameplay didn't help either.

That all changed the minute I went hands on with the game. I'm telling you, I really did have a blast with the title. The collection of games are going to be fantastic to play with friends and family, with tons of replay value in the majority of the games shown in this collection.

Please, just trust me on this one. Hang tight and reserve final judgment for when you can actually go hands-on with the title. I dare you to try Luigi's Ghost Mansion or Animal Crossing: Sweet Day and not become engaged. As long as you have the right people areound you, you're in for a fantastic experience that you'll find very hard to put down.

Kachou on!

I like good games. So far there have been very few thus far out of all of E3. And I'll ignore your complete misinterpretation of my post about Wii Sports for now.
