Titanfall doesn't remotely interest me at all. It looks alright but I just feel any urge to play it at all. If someone wants to buy it then go for it. It doesn't matter to me. Monolith's X looks amazing. Purely. Amazing.

From the makers of Call of Duty comes an MO-only game with gameplay identical to Call of Duty... with jetpacks!
No thanks.
X, yes please.
to be fair, this was the team that made Call of Duty before it entirely became a boring mega franchise and the general impressions is that the gameplay is far, far less uninteresting than most FPS nowadays (not a difficult task).
I say to be fair, because comparing X to almost any game is unfair to the latter.

Honestly, I think it's WAAAAAAY too soon. We've barely seen a bit of game footage.
Lol well... Remember when Pokemon X/Y was announced? That huge, gigantic hype for the game was born in a trailer that was barely over a minute and barely showed any gameplay. So I don't think its too early/soon. Monolith's X looks amazing and freaking mind blowing. Iwata said they are working hard on making a smooth and open world game. I'm DEFINELTY buying X as soon as it releases. Same goes for Pokemon X/Y.

I'll only believe this is a "GOAT" game when they show goat shaped mechas.... until then there's no way it is a GOAT game the Nintendo game closest to being GOAT was Paper Mario Sticker Star:

X has the potential, and if it turns out to out do Xenoblade's experience, my head's going to go through loops when I inevitably compare it to Metroid Prime Hunters. I do believe X will be the game of the Wii U generation, much like Xenoblade is the game of the Wii generation, so I can't wait to dive in.

Yes, and it looks like another multiplayer shooter like the ones we've been seeing for the past 6 years. I'm not saying it won't be good, but it doesn't even have a singe player campaign for Pete's sake.
Why should there be single-player campaign? People hate it when multiplayer is tacked onto games. Just look at Tomb Raider for a recent example. If single-player isn't going to be a focus, then all resources should be focused on multiplayer. Just like how it would be for a single-player-only game.
As for the question at hand: if it is better than Xenoblade, then it very well could be, at least in its genre.

I don't think you can make a judgement like that from a trailer. Trailers can make ANYTHING look exciting. Monolith have made quite a few bad games too, not everything is as good as Xenoblade was. The trailer actually reminded me a lot of the Final Fantasy XIII reveal trailer, and we all know how that turned out.

I totally understand where you're coming from, but from what we've seen it looks to take a LOT from Xenoblade, which was amazing, so at the very least it is a step in a good direction. XIII didn't really take much from anything, except for loose Final Fantasy lore.
I guess I also disagree a little bit with Monolith making "quite a few" bad games. The only one I didn't like so far was Xenosaga II, and it was more "meh" than bad IMO. I'll admit I haven't had the chance to play all of them though...like that DBZ one they made.
Yeah, the only bad game Monolith made was Dirge of Cerberus...and that one was co-developed with Square-Enix, and I'd put it more on the latter's head, since it was a stupid Idea in the first place...
Xenoblade Chronicles is my favourite game of all time, so I'm hoping X is similar. At the very least, it might be the RPG of the year. With Final Fantasy XV and X, next generation RPG's are looking very exciting.
