Topic: Maximo

Just wondering why dont they make games like Maximo? I played that game on playstation2 and honestly i had great time playing the game with my cousin.

It is fun and i would love to see something similar for Wii U adding the new visual of the wii u the game will look absolutely stunning.

As an absolute die-hard fan of the Ghosts n Goblins series, I loooooved Maximo to death growing up. Sadly, I sold my copy many moons ago but I could get another copy easily if I wanted. But since my PS2 is currently boxed up, I'd probably just download it from PSN.

Maximo 2 ( I haven't played the first Maximo yet) is awesome! And I would be very happy to see more games like the old Ratchet&Clank, Sly Cooper, Maximo, Jak&Daxter etc.

Because it's a 3d platformer that isn't Mario or Sonic.

Pretty much that and did Maximo even sell well?

I believe it did well, i cant recall any of my friends in that time not having the game.

The first one did alright but the second bombed pretty hard.

I convinced half my friends to buy FEA, that doesn't make it pokémon.

By the way, i agree with you, i would like to see new ip from nintendo, new characters and new stories.

Yeah I read somewhere that they were planning on a third one but cancelled it after the second one didnt do to well sales wise.

@DrSlump: Thats because Maximo is part of the Ghost N Goblins series.

I finished trine 2 and i was looking for a game that looks like Maximo, couldnt find anything on the wii that resemble that game. Hence my thread.

We really need more 3D platformers in general, honestly...
