Still my most anticipated game of the year. Even more so that XCX.
I'm hoping there are still a couple of surprises left for us. I know this game is already packed, but it loses a bit of magic if you already know everything that's in store.
They said there's still a lot more to reveal but how much is anyone's guess. I'm hoping for a surprise reveal of mario 2 items (if not the pallette) such as shy guys, enemy Birdo's, etc. Also hope for items from Lost Levels like the poison mushroom and red piranha plants.

@Aromaiden: Gamexplain vids, it is noticeable due to how often you can die but come on. Bloodborne and The Witcher 3 were ridiculous at times, with up to a minute waiting, but this is like 10 seconds. Not a problem at all.

I don't mean to show my age here but I remember when games older than the original Donkey Kong would take about half hour or sometimes longer to load up. We would put it on, go out and when we came back it was nearly ready. These were hardly 8-bit graphics either. And you have to wait up to a minute for 4X graphics? First world problems...
Seriously tho, mario maker is going to be great! The loading times didn't seem so bad to me when watching the videos!

I must say I absolutely hate loading times. Even with harddrive installs loading times on consoles are still atrocious. But my experiences with (first party) Wii U games is that they usually load pretty quick. I don't expect this game will have more than a few seconds loading between retries on release.
The weird thing about the loading times is that they are about 6 seconds long in videos but at the NWC pre-E3, they were at least half that time per death... Odd, wonder what happened in between?

Another thing to question is which time will more accurately reflect the final product? Also, how much does level size matter with load times?
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

It shouldn't matter at all, the Wii U should be able to load it all in it's memory and hardly have any loading times for this game.

Music?
Speaking of loading times, they're going to be made even longer [they're not even long to begin with] because you have to DOWNLOAD the stage to memory temporarily. I'm sorry, but complaining about 6-7 seconds of loading time is just utterly stupid.
How low can people go?

They need something to complain about on Wii U, they can't admit their XB1/PS4 has faults.

Because loading times are annoying in hard games/levels. If you hardly die/try, you won't be bothered by it.

You raise a good point, but still. It's not a big problem. Look at The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. That can take upwards of 1 minute at times to load. But no, nobody complains about that. And yes, they're different games, but the PS4/XB1 is more powerful than the Wii U by a mile. It should handle it fairly quickly.

People do complain about that. But being such a huge game you usually don't die every minute or less like you would in a smaller level game like SMM. If you die ten times in succession in SMM and it would have 6 seconds loading times that would mean you've been waiting for a full minute too.
I guess it's fine, but...I just hope there's a way to save extra stages or something. Because I liked to keep most of what I make along with the ones made by friends. I also kinda assumed the sharing would be similar to Smash, where it'll only stay up for a day or so.
