All I know, is that this DC game will better than 12 years worth of Marvel games all bundled up in one. Oh ya, they make DC AND Marvel Legos BTW. They sit right next to each other on the shelf.
My bet is that DC will make a comeback.

The cartoons were the best. I'm pretty sure 2D animation is what made these characters popular in the first place.
I for one don't buy comics. They seem kinda pointless to me. I've tried reading while next to the picture, but I feel like everything is over exaggerated. I've seen some of the comics from the 70's and those look pretty cool though.

Now that WB is apparently partnering with Marvel for video games at least, I would love to see a Marvel v.s. DC fighter game, or a huge Ultimate Alliance game that crosses both universes.

Its from superman red son an slternate universe tale where instead of the rocket landing in Kanas it landed in the soviet union before WWII.

Also what makes Marvel Characters better than DC's other than nearly everyone at Marvel being Cynical donkeyholes and lack optimism.

I'm seriously hoping this game is awesome. I hope the control mechanics are different from MK and the story is good. This game already beats every Marvel game out there IMO, so it has that going for it.
Oh ya, DC doesn't need Capcam to get their characters in a fighting game either. That's also good.

This was just as stupid of a post. There's pretty much an equal fanbase on both parts. I feel as though Marvel storylines are bland in comparison.

Well I'd say its reminiscent of MK but its not a carbon copy. The stage interaction is barrels of fun! Plus the special character button has me excited!

I tried swtiching the subject back to the actual game by talking about the costumes and stuff and yet they still came back with more poop, so I had to as well.

That's only because Marvel has had tons of movies in the past decade. The only marvel characters I can name is some X-men, Spiderman, Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, and Captain America. I don't even know the other avengers.

I can name tons of DC characters, and their stories aren't even directly related most of the time besides Justice League, which would actually make it harder to memorize, so I can understand why that would put some off. Justice League consists of all of them vs. 2 different teams(Avengers, X-men). They are both interesting, but DC is more original and creative than X-men IMO.

I guess it just depends who you ask, but Marvel probably wouldn't exist without DC, much like Playstation wouldn't exsist without Nintendo. You can have the first iteration without the following outcomes, but you can't have the outcomes without the first iteration.

Again, stating Marvel is better is like saying like saying I like blue, and you like yellow, and calling me dumb for thinking so. It's basically equal.

For everyone's sake, take it to the comic discussion thread.

DC, Superman was the first comic, so obviously everything after anyone could say "You guys wouldn't be any where if it weren't for Superman"
Well sorry bro, but Marvel is far more successful and will always be more successful all around the board, so deal with it. I'm in college and I think it is utterly no coincidence in the many many classes I have taken, that we study and always bring up X-Men and how, YES Original it is. My Major is in journalism and nearly all my classes have been literary, so you can stop saying X-Men is unoriginal and bland, because it makes utterly no sense. X-Men was the first Comic series to explain why the majority of superheros have powers. It connected the readers so closely to them, because it felt real and that it could happen.
Stop bringing up Marvel and DC and who is better. The subject has been changed several times in the past few posts and is getting old. I'm am no longer going to come back at it either, so neither should you.

And for you! Considering this is a comic related video game thread, it really isn't incredibly off topic. If you are sick of seeing our complaining, I would advise you to go to another thread, because so far I haven't seen any of your recent posts on topic either....
