Leave my boy Chrono alone, he's clearly a descendent of WaltzElf and is trying to start an all new yet familiar ruckus in the mushroom kingdom....That's been peaceful for farrrrr too long.
God forbid someone actually contribute to the discussion by going beyond the lenses of a fanboy.
QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

Because this is totally a discussion worth having and not one that's been so throroughly run into the ground, it appeared on the other side of the planet.
You take your opinion and treat it as fact, then tell other people their opinions can't be used to counter your own.
I do not. Actually, users like you and many others tend to take my opinions as attacks.
They're not. No, rather, you overlook your fellow Nintendo fans (who more times than not do exactly that), and focus your attacks solely on myself. For years (insert obvious troll in this topic here) has been posting his opinions as end all, be all. No questions about it. When Chrono rightfully dismisses ignorance, Chrono gets the door.

It's only going to get worse. After E3 2015, Nintendo will hit a brick wall along with SEGA as there's literally nothing outstanding on the Wii U that isn't associated directly with Nintendo.
I never said they were facts nor did I treat them as is. I solely expressed my opinion on the matter with predictions and explanations. Until you understand this, do not reply.

I know those are opinions, I am glad to see you are understanding what an opinion is now

That is either a blatant lie, or you need to go back to school and relearn grammar, because the way you're wording your posts definitely gives off a definitive vibe. In this thread at least, you've repeatedly been making assumtions and then treating those assumptions like they're facts.
See the thing is, Smash and Kart are the two of the biggest if not the two biggest selling Nintendo franchises. But to say that somehow because those two games are out that they have "nothing left"? That's a load of bull. Remember on the Wii after the same period of time we also had those two games as well as Galaxy, Prime 3 and Twilight Princess. That wasn't the end of the Wii U though. Just go down the list and it got Galaxy 2, Skyward Sword, Xenoblade, Rayman Origins, New SMB, DKCR, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Punchout, Tatsunoku vs Capcom, Monster Hunter and others after that second year. And that's just the well reviewed retail stuff.
Ontop of that you'd have to be pretty delusional to think that the eShop isn't significantly better than WiiWare was. I know that I personally have what I think is a better collection of games from the eShop now than I had on WiiWare at the end of the Wii's life. Arguably Lost Winds was better than Child of Light but overall the eShop has more content. And lets not forget that we already know that next year will bring at least X and Zelda so saying it's "the end of the line" isn't fooling anyone. These aren't "blind fanboy feelpinions" these are actual measurable things. So just give up trying to convince me otherwise.....
Saying eShop isn't a massive improvement over Wiiware is about as accurate as saying GCN wasn't an upgrade from the N64. Even during the brief period of time where anyone considered Wiiware's limitations acceptable (because most people didn't care about these games in 2008 outside of the novelty of downloading weird indie games on a console...I assume anyway). Because even on the Wii the limitations were hard to ignore more often than not. Whereas right now I own around 20 downloadable titles (ignoring VC) of various sizes and qualities and cost to make that is probably as many games as Wiiware had period at the end of 2008. Wiiware couldn't handle Super Meat Boy and on the eShop you can download Assassin's Creed IV, a game that makes Wind Waker look like Zelda 1 in terms of size, and with none of the actual waiting on a screen needing to watch it download.

Such bold accusations. You're rude and you should feel bad.
Instead of being absolutely rude about this entire situation, you could do us a favor and politely ask if I thought my opinions were facts. I do not think they're facts because they're not true (due to a lack of evidence), but I do believe I'm accurately predicting an outcome given past events and decisions. That outcome could be one hundred percent different since none of us know. Either way it should not prevent us from having a discussion.

So true. Well, at least until the Wii fell off the radar towards the holidays in 2011.
Personally, I just don't see Nintendo receiving that kind of support from third parties in the coming year.

I don't see what evidence you have to support that idea. As it is the Wii U has had better third party support than the Wii had if you ignore the shovelware. I don't see any compelling reason why support will go away anymore than it has already. And again, the depth Nintendo has in their first party content and the increased friendliness to indies and the lack of technical barriers in general? If anything the Wii U should be, and has been, a better platform for us as "core" gamers than the Wii was.
