Topic: F-Zero Wii U ideas and fan petition

Hey guys, I thought I would post this here as I'm sure there's a fair few that love the F-Zero series. There's a fan petition going on change.org for Nintendo to release F-Zero on Wii U. It's been at least a decade if memory serves me right since F-Zero GX!

The thought of racing with others online (hopefully 30?), in HD, 60FPS...with ;added' BOOST power has gotten me dizzy with excitement. Regardless of what Nintendo say, I'm sure they must be listening to what the fans want. .. It's still the fastest racing game in existence Smilie

Hopefully this gets enough signatures so that US Congress will draft legislation for some guy in Japan to direct his publicly owned company to invest time and resources into a specific video game. Great idea.

And if that was for a game that was completed and already localized in Europe, imagine when talking about entering development for a game from an IP that as you mention haven't seen a new game in ten years.

The question is are the right people in Sega still available to do it ? If nobody else can do it or raise the bar again it shouldn't be done.

isnt there a rule against these sorts of threads? anyway a new f-zero would be awesome, but i wouldnt exactly say its a game that would make tons of people go out and get a wii u.

This is Nintendo. We'll be lucky to get 16 player online. My guess is 8, if it ever comes.

Might want to put that link in your signature. Creating a thread just to advertise a petition (which by the way will not work and before you argue with me Nintendo has gone on record saying that they dont pay attention to petitions) is against the rules here I am afraid.

F-Zero, as beloved and needed it is, will come when the time is right. I hardly think a petition will change anything or persuade Nintendo. Besides, forcing them to make one would make a lot less fun, due to it being rushed and forced out to sustain a small need. And, it would be the worst F-Zero ever.

Gone on the record saying it but then announced loads of stuff people have been asking for ages at E3 and shortly afterwards. (They also deny talks of a price cut even the day before - they are not trustworthy in that sense).
